That's one mighty useful forum, I can tell you from personal experience! Most helpful for those tip-of-the-tongue moments when you cannot, for the life of you, remember the title/author of that terrific book you read ages ago!!

CBC Radio once had a hum line, for this purpose. People would call in and hum the tunes to a long forgotten song, and the listeners would respond, often with success.
