If it's not working --

Clear your cache etc. Or load filehosts.xml and hit CTRL+F5 to refresh it on your system.

Apparently rapidgator.net has a much lower total bandwidth limit per day than other filehosts and we (mobilism users) reached it. I will see if there is a way to go around it or get a second account.

Rapidgator.net and depositfiles will be working again within the next 24 hours. I've been looking through what's been happening with the scripts and basically people have been abusing it to the max. The whole point of the downloader was to enable lots of people to download apk, ipa, pdf, mobi and other files which are used on this site, but since people are abusing it and downloading 7 seasons of the Simpsons per day, for the time being we're making it so that you can't download files larger than 90mb (though you can still download as many files, and as many files simultaneously, as you want).

I searched for the keywords for my problem but got no results, so I hope my question was not previously answered.

I am trying to use the Premium Downloader. I copied and pasted the download link, erased the "anonymizer" part, entered username and password, and am getting this response:

Connected to: pr20.rapidgator.net at port 80...

Retrieving download page

File size is limited at 90.00 MB.

The file I am trying to download is a magazine, at this link:
https://rapidgator.net/file/30899912/HGTV_Magazine_2012-09.pdf.html

I found the link in this thread:
http://forum.mobilism.org/viewtopic.php?f=123&t=376850&sid=5c2ec47ad7bffaecbbf2424bc0f115ea

The filesize is 94.5 MB.

How can I solve this problem? Thank you.

Edited to add: The Mobilism plugin is not working for me either. The Greasemonkey script is enabled and the Mobilism Premium Plugin is enabled. But I do not see that the download icon next to the link does anything. I am using Firefox which I installed specifically for this website.

When I clicked it, it began to change and said "connecting" and "transferring data from...", but after a few seconds it stopped and remained on the same page. There is no new window, no new tab, no download notice, and no file as downloaded.

The thread with the problem is viewtopic.php?f=1271&t=364873. The same thing happened with all three of the links that have the download icon (the last three links in that thread).

What is supposed to happen when I click the blue download icon?

Does this site have a FAQ or troubleshooting section?

Thank you.

MrsKravitz: please try again now. Regarding the mobilism plugins, I dont really use greasemonkey script so I dont know, but I personally recommended to just use the most basic of our methods: http://89.248.172.78/premium.php
All of the methods are actually identical and use the same files, the only difference is cosmetic. So my suggestion is to just use what is easiest and most convenient for you.

Thank you. I did try that. It didn't work. It said the download exceeded the maximum file size allowed, which is 90 MB. The file I wanted to download was 94.5 MB.

So far I have been unable to use any of the premium features, from either my computer or my Android device (Asus TF300 tablet). Either the max file size is exceeded, or after entering my credentials it says "page not found" or the Mobilism Premium Plugin doesn't work.

I have only been able to download using the "free" features, with all the respective limitations that premium membership is supposed to eliminate. But at least it works. None of the "premium" features worked so far. I am very discouraged. I am happy to contribute to support the site because I think it is great, but I thought that the fee for the premium membership would make downloading easier and it hasn't changed anything.

MrsKravitz: I know it did not work the first time, hence why I asked you in my last post to try again now; I changed the filesize limit so that you would be able to download it. If it says file not found or anther error that either means the file has been deleted from the filehost or you are trying to use a filehost not on our list of supported filehosts.

are we able to dl a link to a large file from a link from elsewhere?
Basically what is and what is not allowed.........
Thanks.

Yes and yes, its allowed.

I use this to download my nightly shows and now you are saying we a abusing it yet you said so yourself it is allowed to download movies and such not just APKs. I was very seriously considering re upping my sub but if I cant use this for my TV shows like I was then there is no reason to. Its no big deal to DL apks from the free services but it is a pain to do it for videos.

Yeah, the only reason some of us were using it for larger files from time to time, was because you specifically said it was allowed here.

Not enough of a reason to keep me from re-upping, because I see it as a big thank you for running the site and all the work, more than anything, and I think everyone should see it that way. But some discussion before just putting the limit on would have been nice.

Yeah, I'm not sure why that usage wasn't completely expected, especially after the quoted statement. Since it's a paid service, people expected to be able to use it just like other similar paid services (dowwi, etc.)

If it can't be used for large files there'd be no reason for me to re-up it either. Small files are easy to get from the sites for free. It's the large ones that it's nice to avoid waiting hours.
