I know erased everything else on SD CARD and left only MIOMAP.
I again hit the road and navigation was working perfect for 5 minutes and then IPAQ turned off.

I dont know what is the problem.

I am so sad :)

Tnx ekolab but this is to complicated for me...I think that I need some program which makes that GPS PORT is ALLWAYS open.
When IPAQ turns off my GPS indicator on desktop is showing that GPS is turned off.

Something is turning GPS off wich causes exiting MIOMAP and turning IPAQ.

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

I have a little problem. I don't know how to get maximum zoom after map change? I must hold + button to be ready for navigation.

It seems that Ecolab solution works if you change between maps which covers the gps position. It works now for me when changing between EE and Adria map. When I used a Greek's map I must change map a couple times to get it work.

After changing map when you choose your destination the map is autozooming
but if you want to put some limitis in autozoom

auto_zoom_max=11
auto_zoom_min=4

where 11 means 110 meters and
4 means 40 meters

You can adjust as you prefer

in all power and backlight settings everything is turned off so WM 5.0 is not turning of IPAQ.

its problem in MIOMAP

I think that I need program which enables turning off GPS PORT ?!

My device is also HP Ipaq and I had the same problem with some version of IGO8!!!
Then in all power and backlight setting I've turned all on then reset and then off and the problem stopped.

I didn't see early, but there is an option already in ini file. Save timezone. I set it to 1 and now Miomap remembers what is my time zone.
