No.

Tried installing the original version, uninstalled it and immediately installed the modded version but stuck at the Login via google screen. I guess this is only for rooted phone with signature core patched

Reboot and try again, this is a workaround and you may have to try couple of times.

If signature verification is patched, you don't even need to uninstall anything and can simply install over original app.

Working perfectly! I guess we have to be really quick in between uninstalling and installing the versions. Thank you. Both the apps have updates in playstore.
