No, my device is wp8.
Officially developer unlocked.
I was hard try to use Patcher Tool 1.2, but its not working on Windows 7 OS.

major problem for patching is because XAP from marketplace is encrypted and only way is first install app to phone and after that extract app files from phone to computer and patch after that... is needed to have full unlocked device for root access to extract install files from phone...

i not search how patching work for WP8 apps only but suppose is similar to WP7 and people (possible) use Samsung ATIV because have interop and custom ROM....

unencrypted XAP files you can easy patch with WP7-3MktPlace (under tools tab)
