if so, would you be so kind to describe all procedure to connect via WiFi and launch WPAppPatcher from the very beginning, pls
is it nescessary to connent in one of the stages of setup via USB to PC?

1.uninstall previous version of WPAppSender or older WPAppPatcher from phone
2. connect device to WiFi network
3. download latest WPAppPatcher-v117.zip or newer
4. unzip it
5. go to unzipped folder WPAppPatcher...
5.a optional: look in folder Requirements... install CoreConInstall2.exe, vs_sdeprolightup-enu.msi (from folder VSAddin) and WPSDKLite (if you dont have already WP SDK installed)
6. run Zune, connect device
7. run WPAppPatcher.exe as Administrator on computer
8. press Help
9. Install Client (dont worry if XAPDeployX not shown, process is done without show any new window)
9.a If need Install Root Tools, dont forget to give permissions in Root Tools for WPAppSender
10. Run WPAppSender on phone
11. under tab Server look for phone IP addresses
12. on computer in WPAppPatcher go to settings, in Phone IP address enter IP address from phone. Save. Close WPAppPatcher
13. run WPAppPatcher again on computer. if IP address correct, apps list will be loaded...


1.14b working fine for now on my device... connection working only via WiFi.. tested on Win 8 Pro x86 (and Win 7 Ultimate x86)

everything done as in instruction
IP shows correctly in WP7 and on PC, ping done successfully
after connecting, WPAppPatcher begins to count apps and show the progress bar (1,2,3 and.../67)
and finally after counting I see: Failed to connect to WPAppSender, please make sure the application is running and your ip is set correctly

so it seems that WPAppPatcher DOESN'T work with Win7 x64
Milkmano, please make iy possible to run your app on x64 machines

It works just fine in Win7/8 x64 and even XP 32bit (I build it in a 64bit os )

When it crashes during loading applications it might mean that one application is corrupt... somehow,
the next builds will only be bug fixes so ill try to figure out a way to bypass corrupt applications.

thanks for helping, but everyting downloaded fine and no reason to think that WPAppPatcher corrupted

in settings of WPAppPatcher and in WPAppSender - identical IP (xxx.xxx.1.100)
but in WPAppPatcher - Help - Show PC IP it showes (xxx.xxx.1.102) WHY???? maybe it is the REASON???

ignore show IP in WPAppPatcher... different is also in my but this seem not important anymore... only look IP from WPAppSender on phone and that IP you must enter in WPAppPatcher...

its already done, but as I previously said after counting apps I see: Failed to connect to WPAppSender, please make sure the application is running and your ip is set correctly

The same with me. Ping and everything works is, actually, the phone and PC are connected properly. He begins to enumerate the apps and then breaks off with the message that he has no connection ....

stupid answer: YES, every Requirements were installed
SDK 7.1 full already installed one year ago, miniSDK - yes, NETframework - yes, Zune - yes, WP7Root tools - yes (WPAppSender -in trusted sector)
but still no luck in connecting

and finally:
v.1.15 - the same result: ping WP7 - OK, identical IP - OK
BUT!!! after counting apps - FAILED TO CONNECT TO WPAppSender

again reinstall old Appha 5 - works brilliant....

New version is not running. Same error as in all previous versions. He begins to list the apps and then stops with a connection error.
