INDEPENDENCE is rarely won by talk alone unfortunately a lot of blood is spilled every-time (i cannot understand why) when conflict starts with talking and it also eventually ends with talking but with a whole lot of bloodshed in between. I wish that we could remove all the blood shed in between. It is very sad that we as a species have not learned that war isn't the answer even after 2 world wars and countless of coups insurrections etc etc if we resort to solving things with our fists again because we cant solve thing with speaking and compromise then essentially we have already lost our self respect and our humanity(we surpass even the laws of wild animal nature) where they kill only to protect to eat & to survive & for shelter. I doubt Russia can say that it is hungry or is feeling threatened or doesn't have a home for shelter. when you treat a neighbour like this it is like spitting into the wind (be prepared that it will come back and hit your own face)
we have a saying in Greek that goes along these lines "one hand washes the other and both hands wash the face!)
when will we ever learn that if we just stay at the table and hash things out a lot of innocent lives can be spared.
I read a post before asking how the Russian soldiers feel killing innocent women and children. my reply is (there is good and evil in every race religion and creed) I want to believe that most of them are carrying out their orders out of fear for their own families safety, if they don't do what they are told. I only pray that some one can step in and take over as Russia's Interim President (on account of this totally uncalled for irrational unconscionable act of violence against unarmed civilians.) However war has a way of bringing out both the worst and best in people let us all pray that there are more good people and brings out more of the best in them than the worst.
A long time ago Russia needed help from the Greeks to be able to get supplies and trade goods to other countries because of an embargo it was Cathrine the great that struck up a deal between Greeks so that Russia could still trade using Greek shipping merchants that allowed Russia to still trade under our Greek flag. NEVER forget the help a neighbour can give you in times of trouble. You should not be quarreling with your neighbours as more often than not it is your neighbour that is first on the scene to assist you not friends & relatives. REMEMBER EVEN THE LION NEEDS HELP FROM A MOUSE!

I have friends in Ukraine and in Russia.
I repeat to both of them that the evil is not Russia, but Putin.
Russian people suffered under him.
Ukraine is suffering for him.
Please, it's not the country, the evil people are, most of the time, the leaders.
I'm not defending Russia, of course.
I've seen videos of the bombing. I had no words for that.
I want only to repeat: Putin is the evil. Not Russian people.
From my side, I'm participating in good collections for Ukrainian friends.
No prayers from me, I don't believe in God.
I hope Russians will rise against evil, and Ukraine will resist.

You can find neo-Nazis in any place, any country in the world. Nevertheless, a country that chose a Jewish president (who lost family in the Holocaust to boot) with more of 70% of votes is certainly not a Nazi one, and even if they were, they are being invaded for no other reason but the political ambitions of a former spy. I'm at the other side of the world, and wish I could do more than sending some money to the international NGOs that are on the ground... Our awful government is close to that madman, but we Argentine people know better.
