After using this site for about a year and a half (mostly for ebooks) I donated last week during the sale. I did this mainly to support the site but I just tried the Premium for PC and it's awesome!

I'm trying to access the download link created by the premium downloader, as every time I enter a file into a box, the link appears for perhaps 2 seconds, then vanishes and I end up with a video screen and play button, where I would like to download the file. I have to press Esc at exactly the right second the freeze the page, to be able to get the link. I then press right-click and choose save link as...

This is in Chrome - maybe someone has an explanation.

Are you trying to download a video file? I think you have your browser/operating system is set to stream video files. So rather than downloading it, it tries to start streaming it as soon as part of the file gets saved. This is not a problem on our end but your file association settings that you can change.

This is a problem on your side- it means your browser or default file association is set to open rather than save. As a result your browser tries to stream the file rather than saving it.

What link? Chances are you're trying to download something very old where the file no longer exists.

I have the exact same message!! Sooooo frustrating!!!!!

I've been having issues downloading with the pc link and the app. Always download failed. Any help?

EDIT: Never mind. Seems restarting my phone fixed the issue. Odd what a restart can do.
