This is a warning to every one who visits the marketplace often and installs cracked apps.
In the past, all MS does is prevent you from updating your cracked apps.
Now, when it detects you have a cracked app, your game in "Xbox Live Tile"(this applies even if you did not activate XBL) will be faded out with an error message "Attention Required." You will be unable to play the game as well as uninstall it.(I have no idea why MS does not let you uninstall it) This happened to me, so I know.
There IS however, a LOOPHOLE. The trick is to pin all of your cracked apps/games to your home screen. So in case your app gets blocked by MS, you can just start it from you home screen. Note that it takes slightly longer to load, but it bypasses the block.
(No, you cannot pin to home screen after MS has detected it's cracked. You have to do it BEFORE)
If you guys don't believe me, try it for yourself. Download a cracked app, let's say NFS Undercover. Open marketplace, search NFS Undercover and press that to load detailed info about the game, screenshots, reviews etc. Press "Update" and you will get an error. Go to your XBL Games hub and see what happens.
So in short, the SAFEST way is to make sure you 1. Pin all your cracked apps to home screen. 2. NEVER press "Update All" when you have update notifications as it may check BOTH your legit and cracked apps. Update them manually.
