If it does not belong anywhere else but is about Windows, post it here.

So I got my VISA Credit Card today, and I'm now trying to set up the payment account through XBOXLive but these guys are telling me I live in the USA but my Windows Live account says Trinidad and Tobago < My real location so now I am stumped on how to change this and if I cam't change it, should I just remain with this USA location.

My friend told me that this means that Xbox Live only accepts USA credit cards? Seriously? What crap is that!

Ok so I now realised that it is true they don't accept NON USA credit cards, this is my reason for ChevronUnlocking my device and sideloading cracked apps! I was going to give MS my money but apparently they don't what it.

First, login to your Windows Live Account here: http://www.passport.net Click Sign In at the top right hand corner.

Then at the Account Overview screen(the first page you see after login), look for Country/region near the top and click change on the right side.

Hope it helps.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/33406492@N06/6423706611/My country in Windows Live is correct but on the Xbox Live website it's wrong, it's fixed as the USA and I can't change it because there is no option to change it. So unfortunately I know you tried, but it wouldn't work because as I said my country is already correct on Windows Live i.e. my windows live ID

In this case, try sending an email to Microsoft support. They should be able to change it.

Try creating a new email account with another email provider like gmail. Sometimes, stuff just doesn't get through certain emails. For me, I have a separate Gmail account for all my MS related stuff as my Yahoo can't seem to receive anything from them.
