I want to buy Nokia Lumia 900 (below Link) which is for 400$. My question is how to unlock it? Please guide me. I want to make sure we can unlock it before buying one

There are a few ways.

1. You can register for a MS developer account at apphub to unlock your phone. (Costs $99 a year)

2. If you are a student, you can apply for a free apphub account through Microsoft Dreamspark

If you are not a student, you can try this trick here: viewtopic.php?f=1137&t=317425

I'm not too sure if there are any other ways.

It has been locked by the network and I want to unlock and use it on whatever network I want (specifically, phone has been locked by at&t). I'm sorry, but I don't think there is any real way to sim/network-unlock a WP phone other than by getting a sim/network-unlock code from either AT&T or using 3rd party sim/network-unlock services on the internet to network unlock your phone.

I never had to address this issue before as all phones sold in my country are required to be sim-free by law.

I do hope you will be able to find alternative solutions though.

forget it unlocks not available yet for lumia 900

You can ask the unlock code to your service provider but they will be more expensive. The best way to get the unlock code cheaper from the genuine unlocking sites like http://www.superunlockcodes.com/. I got my phone unlocked from the site successfully.
