I just went to ppcwarez and got the new annoying advert that replaces the page I wanted to view. Right after that I had a trojan attack from software calling itself XP 2010 protection centre. It ran itself on my laptop and reported 23 trojans/viruses on my laptop (non of which exist) and asked for money (i.e. I must purchase their software) to remove them. It is a scam, of course, I've seen such before.
I believe this came directly from the new ppcwarez inserted adverts provider. So I ask the administrators are you sure these advert merchants are safe for us to have on the website? They seem a little heavy handed the way they get in your face when using the website. but I honestly cannot accept them running a scam program on my laptop.
Additional: The trojan software is called 'av.exe'.
