That was clearly meant as a joke, but seeing that this is an international community, there are a lot of cultural differences. What it is perceived as a joke from the poster, might be considered as something else from the recipient of the joke. You have to keep in mind that there is absolutely no reason for someone to harass you [especially when that someone is part of the staff]. Usually, the staff tries to resolve issues of harassment that may arise between members.
Cracking a joke or two, makes the staff seem more approachable and friendly.

I think this is getting out of control. I haven't been around these last few days tending to an illness, and i have no idea what happened with this presidency stuff, i ahve not a clue what it even means, i must have missed sth of douchy importancy. I guess another Joke. Got it. Haha.

I jsut want to thank those of you supporting me, but i'm not going to make any more comments in this or any other thread, except for participating in the occssional contest.

And mmin please don't stop participating because of this. I'm sure it was meant as a joke, but jokes are only funny when the person they're aimed at finds them funny too. As you said, there are a lot of really nice people in the contests section and we hope to see you soon.

To me what is more disappointing is to see that Guy, a senior Moderator, feels the need to still ridicule and mock mmin. The irony of the situation is that Mmin had expressed concern, right in the beginning, that he might get punished for even expressing that he had been treated in this way.

Well Guy has have proved him right. More ridicule for expressing that he had been ridiculed.
