Need some help please!

Hello!

I've tried to upload an epub on Zippy and Solidfiles, to place in the site, but apparently it won't load; whenever I try, all the metadata files get in the way.
This is a retail .epub I bought thru iTunes.
Is there some manner to just upload the epub? What can I do?
Any and all advice is tremendously appreciated!

Have you tried to upload by making a .zip file ? I think that will work if you will first create zip file of your ePUB file.

We identified the bolded bit as the problem.

Bought a book through iTunes myself a couple of years ago - and subsequently (foolishly) updated iTunes as the updates came in.

Anyway, there will be no more purchases by me through iTunes/iBooks. Now it's Google Books or Amazon all the way!
