Has anyone else had issues the past month with not receiving email notifications when you have a PM? I even changed my email address thinking that my internet provider was stopping them since that is the email addy I had been using but even now with an internet based email addy it still isn't sending them. I could change it again to a gmail but last time I tried to change it, I couldn't get the email to confirm it so got locked out. I searched the forums but don't see anyone else posting about it so not sure what to do.

Have you checked your settings via the User Control Panel?

User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit global settings > Notify me on new private messages > Yes

You also have to turn OFF the pop-up window for pms:

User Control Panel > Board Preferences > Edit global settings > Pop up window on new private message > NO

Also, ensure you have 'Administrators can e-mail me information' set to Yes.

I was using my ISP address and then switched to hotmail as the ISP one wasn't working.

Yes all that is still there. I never had issues for years then all of a sudden I stopped getting them so changed to my hotmail addy and still not getting anything. Was thinking maybe I should try my gmail but when I changed to hotmail I had to get a friend to contact admin here to send me a new password as I couldn't even get the email to change email addresses. LOL Don't want to have to get my friend to contact disk4mat again over this, was hoping it was an all over problem but seems to be isolated to me.

Strangely enough, since August 10 .. I'm not getting any e-mail notifs. at all to my yahoo addy too
Never had any problems too...

And now, absolutely nada notifs.!
Did everything, no effect!
And how strange it happens just about now!

Same, my Yahoo Mail! app would notify me as soon as it got the e-mail about the PM .... and no e-mails at all now..

Its been this way for ages. A lot of email providers reject our emails. My recommendation is that you use Gmail, no problems there.

If I change to my gmail and it doesn't work, I will be having my friend email you again. Thanks for letting us know that it can be a problem with some email providers. Going to go change it now to gmail. LOL

You could always follow the contests' staff on twitter. I know it's not a solution to your problem, but at least it covers the notifications for contests' updates.

Same here infrequently. Most of the time I get them, but just arrived here and saw one from this morning. No email sent.
Always had Gmail.
