why cant i download files with a rar at the end of it?

but i can download apk?

No u just need an app to extract rar on android. If there is one?

Rars need to be extracted apk does not. As far as I know no app has been made to extract rars on a phone(atleast not android). I know androzip claims to do it but never did for me.

Best way to do it for rar files if you download them to you phone send them to your computer and get winrar(Google it). Once winrar is installed on your computer right click the rar file and click extract here then send the apk back to your phone and install it.

problem is..is that when i do try to download a rar file it starts off as downloading..but then it says that it doesnt support it on my phone and it doesnt download.

and i heard also that rar files might have viruses. /:

iPhone & WM both have .rar programs I think androzip or andro are 50/50 chance. I know it has a problem extracting really big files though from my experience too.

You will have to have a .rar extraction program installed before your phone will identify it as a file type that is why it cancels.

We remove anything that even looks questionable if and when it is posted. If you do come across questionable content report it. Otherwise breathe easy.
