Hi, I have a problem with my samsung omnia i900 cause right side of the screen doesn't respond to touch any more. It's a hell to try to text someone so I gotta change it. I saw on youtube that new panels improve A LOT touch sensitivity so my question is what do you recommend? I guess there are few kinds of touch panels for omnia so any help would be really appreciated.

Question for serbs :) -Ako neko iz Srbije cita ovo moze li da mi kaze postoji li neki servis kod nas koji to radi uz garanciju?

Thanks ;)

No, it's not that, I'm not such a noob ;). Look at the picture to see what I'm talking about. I painted everything I could and you can see there's a white field which shows the part of the screen which doesn't respond to touch.
Hmm sry there's some problem attaching the photo, i'll upload it somewhere else.

hmm that looks kinda fudged.... im no expert but you may well need a new digitzer/touchscreen

Most probably you gonna need a new digitizer.
If you have two hands and a screwdriver you can do it by yourself, no need for sending it for a repair. Of course if your warranty has expired.

Ok guys i'm gonna need more help. I googled digitizers for omnia i900, looked similar topics on other forums and I still have no idea how many different digitizers are there and which one is the best. They mention some which have "8gb" or "16gb" written on it, some have "samsung" written and some, they say, are just copies which loses sensitivity over time  . I would reeealy appreciate if someone could help me out a little bit more :) . Anyone here already changed his touch panel/digitizer? Where did you buy it, which one did you buy and was it better than original? I really need help cause it's getting almost impossible to use the phone. Thanks in advance.

JJJJ88.. Its not that difficult really, all the instruction come with the screen, I had mine of E-Bay from china, find one with Samsung on it..
Google you-tube for disassemble and re-assemble of Samsung i900 touch screen replacement, just take your time, don't rush it and follow the video to the letter.....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydNZTeHS ... re=related
(Best tip i can offer is watch the video over and over again, till you think you could do it in your sleep), it took me just over half a hour from start to finish... I found the screen just the same as the original one, for £8inc P&P you cant go wrong.. this was 4 months ago, still working a treat......
good luck... (USE the blue plastic bar that comes with the screen)
