I haven't experienced any trouble on my iPad.
Did you experience the problem on a specific book or various books you've downloaded?

I have an iPad and an iPad mini. I download the books to my MacbookPro and then e-mail them to my iPad mini for reading. However, since the iPad and iPad mini were upgraded to iOS 9.2 none of the books will open or download to those devices

Use Calibre. It's free and it will convert ebooks to virtually any format. You don't have to convert your books to PDF to read them. You can use the native book reader on Ipad which uses the epub format or you can download the free Kindle reader which uses mobi and a few other formats. I read all my books on my Ipad. I use the Ipad reader and the Kindle reader. I Never had any trouble reading them. Converting to PDF might be your problem.

klanphear wrote:tadaaaa....thanks. That worked. Not quite as easy as before as I have to convert them to pdf. Do you know how to transfer them to Ibooks from Drop Box?
Try this:
- After uploading the file to Dropbox launch the Dropbox app on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch and look for the file you just uploaded.
- Open that file and then tap on the ‘Share’ button. Next you need to tap on the ‘Open In…’ button from the menu. This will open another menu with a bunch of sharing options (everything on your device that is compatible).
- From there tap on ‘Open in iBooks’. This will redirect you to iBooks app where you will see the PDF or book added in the library.
FWIW, I've got 9.02 on both my devices and have had no problems sending epubs to each device after the update but this method should work with pdf's as well. The only program I've had issues with accepting books from Dropbox in this way is the Kindle app.
