I'm either paranoid or there are less and less new apps for windows mobile. I remember when there used to be few new good apps every day in release section and now it's good if 1 comes along every 3-4 days :(. And even that isn't really new, there isn't anything innovative lately just updates to the old versions we've been using for ages. Is it just me or do u feel too there's a lack of good new apps? I can't remember when was the last time i downloaded something and said WOW! I guess my next phone will be android but I'm not sure it's much different right now. It seems they have more right now cause they are just making up for lost time and remaking the apps winmo already have. There haven't been anything revolutionary in last year. I never thought I'd say this but I got bored with my winmo phone lol.

Winmo is like having commodore64 when you can have a XBox. I hope winmo7 delivers something special. And they better hurry up about it too

Yep and it's sad. Old devices like WM, PalmOS, etc were real Pocket PC. And these brand new iPhoneOS, Android are something near smartphones. They have unrequired G-sensor, HD video and other, and other. It's WOW factor, it's toy, not a Personal Computer in your Pocket. IMHO of course.

No, you don't really need it... Same as you don't need 320HP in your car for everyday transportation from home to work, but that doesn't change the fact that it's fun to have it and use it from time to time. ;)

That's true. G-sensor and other is not the cause of that WinMo is so behind today. It's just because of new devices and OSes.

Personally I've been using Android and I'm going back to WM this week. I just got used to it and all the flaws, malfunctions, occasional hiccups. ;)

With the exception of chess engines I havent found anything my Nexus One cant do that my WM device could. Not that these things don't exist, I can name plenty, but for me Android lacks little. Not to mention I prefer its interface, stability, and other aspects over WM's.

And does Android have some significant things that wm lacks? I'm almost sure my next phone will be android cause the more info I get about winmo 7 the more I'm convinced it will suck bad. Google is obviously more open minded than Microsoft so the difference between these 2 will probably increase over time. I don't think android was better than wm so far but I do think it will be better in future. Seems that app developers got their attention more on android than wm and that's probably the most important thing.
