Does anyone know of any type of software that will repair a sd card. Nothing happened to the card, it was not hit, dropped, did not get wet, did not get overheated; was working fine and turned device off then 3 hours later turned device back on the device states no card...... already did hard reset, nothing; tried to read the card through card reader on notebook, nothing. I need HELP...

Anyone know of any thing I can do; this card is only 7/8 mos old and has never been handle roughly. I hope and pray someone might be able to provide me with some sort of info. Anyone have any advise?

PLEASE

Mmmmph. Ttry plugging it back in your computer and if it pops up as readable, do a disk check on it. Check warez-bb for DriveRestore Professional or google it.

Another idea you can try asap:
Open up command prompt:
In Windows:
chkdsk /X /F <drive>
Example: plug your card in PC. If it comes up as G: drive:
In command prompt you would type: chkdsk /X /F G:
Hit enter.

In Linux try:
fsck.vfat or dosfsck

Problem is that the card does not come up any longer. System can not find the card. Any ideas how I can help system to locate card when inserted?

Damn i am seeing little green yoda everywhere.

If you have the card SD adapter (since it is a micro sd) and a digital camera, another way is to pop it into the camera and use the format function.

I dont think this will work as well as his PC cannot detect the card at all. If the PC can't see the card there is no way any program can format it.

I know what you are saying antt00 but I have actually used this where the pc was not seeing anything but I am not clever enough to know why it can do this :(
Anyway it is free and all it will take is 5 minutes of his time .
One caution for anyone using it , you have to only use the first half of the software i.e stop when it prompts you for the operating system to install.
