apparently some apks here were ripped from droidfanz and some kiddy there decided it'd be fun to kill all data of people downloading those ripped apks. so everyone be very careful what you download here and remember to back up your stuff frequently.

There is no malicious .apk on Mobilism and no war with DroidFanz. Check the All Free Talk section, we actually have references to Droidfanz as an alternative to Mobilism...
It was not ripped from DroidFanz. It was posted here by a new user phant0m1337. The application was Chandroid v5.3.1 and was removed promptly. The topic that was in question here actually had a reply in second post stating DO NOT DOWNLOAD. If it is being downloaded, it is from elsewhere so anyone should be careful to avoid it if they see it anywhere floating around.
As for watching what you download...If an app is posted from a user with 0 posts and registered 5 minutes earlier.. take it with caution. We have pretty good feedback amongst users. Use it to your advantage. And if you do see anything out of the ordinary, don't be afraid to report the topic so we can get any type of situation resolved as quick as possible. Topic Reporting is not just limited to spam.
As a side remark about the Chandroid application itself, the picture exploited was not added by the person that did the tampering. It's located in all chandroid versions in \res\drawable\obsolete_thumbnail_placeholder.jpg and maybe should be excluded from future updates of the application considering this program doesn't carry an 18+ age content rating.
