I live in the US and we live behind a curtain, knowing that much I do not believe a single word coming out of the TV about Syria.

The reports are extremely conflicting. Its a media war between CNN/FOX/AlJazeera VS Telesur/PressTV/RT.

I know wikileaks revealed that the head of AlJazeera was working with the CIA, he is know resigned. This is after the lies on Libya where after my country bombed the crap out of them, the CIA trained rebels started hanging black Africans leaving entire black towns empty and raping black African woman who survived in refugee camps at gunpoint every day.

So how can AlJazeera be trusted? - especially when Telesur, PressTV and RT are reporting completely opposite stories on Syria. I just heard today on PressTV that 2000 Syrian soldiers and police officers have been killed since March of 2011. The so called "Free Syrian Army" has tanks and armored vehicles. All over Israeli media, they are supporting this "Free Syrian Army". It is also important to note that PressTV has been banned in Britain.

And now my country wants to invade Syria. I am always in support of civilians first. And to support them, it would be absolutely wrong to support a US invasion.

Here is a video from January that is 10 minutes of Syrians who AlJazeera claimed to have been killed by the Syrian government still alive. It's the freakiest thing I had ever seen in my life. If you have the people of Syria in your hearts please watch it.

People are dying like crazy over there, but to believe it is as simple as the Syrian government killing peaceful protestors is extremely naive. It's now a civil war and the people of Homs appear to be getting the brunt of it. For months and months the people of Homs have been begging the Syrian government to take out the mysterious gun men who have taken over - who we know know as the "Free Syrian Army". Now many civilians are probably being caught in the crossfire. In the video I posted above family members are claiming their loved ones died from these men. But none of this comes out in western media, whose militaries are inching to invade.

Two days ago a french report was killed by the FSA.

I dont find myself agreeing with Israel and Obama (and his corporate media) on this. I think we are being lied to unlike anything we have ever been lied to before, just like Libya but worse. There are more countries as well supporting the Syrian government on this. The only ones against Syria are Israel, Obama and probably Britain.

I just wanted to elaborate, I am not a supporter of Bashar, not was I ever a supporter of Gaddafi. But I was never in support of invading Libya, and I am definitely not in support of invading Syria or to learn that my country is arming Obama's Proxy Army (Free Syrian Army) through turkey and probably Jordan. I truly feel ashamed to know my tax dollar has went to this, and I just want to apologize now for all the pain your family is going through and all the pain that is to come.

It's disgraceful how Obama's proxy Army is now shelling Aleppo and innocents are dying again. Yes, I'm a sunni Muslim, but this has nothing to do with this. When did I ever open up my mouth and say I wanted sharia law implemented? Don't put words in my mouth. There is no country in the world right now that employs correct sharia law so it's best you set that argument aside before looking like a fool. This isn't a religious revolution, it's a human rights revolution. You clearly aren't informed because a big portion of the activists are Christians and Aloites. The probability of them both losing family members are very high, as theirs is a nation divided where their native protest movement got hijacked by my administration, NATO, the Israelis and their subordinate puppet regimes to militarily fund one side and escalate the violence to destabilize the country. In short we are talking about lives and real families here. And I actually speak to some of the journalists who have done work there. One can't pretend that the news of the rest of the planet is irrelevant, that would be pretending and nothing more.

The one thing I learned, anytime a supposed war crime is covered by any of the corporate run media networks it has the following sentence in their article: "... can not be independently verified".

WhatAboutMe ... its ok to be grateful for Russia's support against destabilizing Syria, but its another thing all together to "love" Russia for it. Stars had a point, in that Russia does have interests. But what Stars doesnt point out is that so does the United States and Israel whose news he's watching. There is a cold war being fought between US/Israel and Russia and China and Syria/Iran is where that battle is being fought. Latin America's coverage (Telesur) is probably the best and most balanced coverage Syria is getting right now. But back to Russia's interests. It has to do with defense, where as the US/Israeli interests are purely imperialistic.
