John had no time to feel bored. Whole day long he had been walking around on the ship, watching crewman doing their job, talking to other passengers, having a drink in the cocktail-bar. He also spend a few hours in the fitness-room, and went down-deck to watch a movie. He couldn't concentrate. Whole the time he was thinking about Suzan, blaming himself he forgot his mobile to be able to call her... In the evening he went to the ship's restaurant. He sadly spotted the cheerful couples, having fun and enjoying themselves, while he was sitting on his own in a corner at a small table, which was nevertheless dressed for two, giving him one more reason he didn't enjoy his meal. The tables where decorated with candles, but he blew out the one on his table, thinking he would wait for Suzie to light his fire... Once in a while a nice looking girl throw him a glimp, but he wasn't interested in that kind of company. After dinner he went to the bar. As he feared the coming night to be sleepless again, he planned to have some strong drinks to help him to sleep. He didn't care. It might as well be one of the last times he got drunk, as he promised Suzie once they met he would never drink again. The same way that she promised to stop smoking once they would be together. There would be no time to drink or smoke anyway... There was to much wasted time to recover when the moment would come...

His sleep was nevertheless restless again. Never he could have imagined someone could haunt his mind that bad. Of course he had a headache in the morning, and black coffee was the only thing he could think about for breakfast... After his "breakfast" he went outside - the thin air refreshed him and brought a little of his spirit back - he stared over the ocean, trying to empty his mind, which of course was not possible as she was always there, when suddenly he noticed a little vessel, approaching at high speed. He found it moved pretty fast for what it seemed to be an old fishing boat. He also noticed grey clouds over a coastline nearby. "Excuse me, Sir," John asked a crewman that was doing some painting a few meters away from him, "what coast is it we see over there?". "That", replied the man, "is the coastline of Somalia, Sir...".

John watched the approaching vessel with anxious eyes... it suddenly didn't look like an "old fisher boat" any more, as it appeared to have a large machine gun mounted on its front deck...

"PIRATES!", the captain yelled... And before John realized what was happening he heard a gunshot, felt a sudden pain on his head and dived away in the darkness of unconsciousness...

A young boy was running trough a green field, filled with flowers - roses and jasmine... The smell made him raise his nose and from an eye he spotted a little dragon flying above him, watching him and following him on his steady path. The boy waved at the dragon when it suddenly dive to a bush of trees in the direction he was running, and the boy hurried to see where it landed. He saw a tree offering beautiful fruit and on one of the branches was a girl sitting, with a book in her hands. When the boy approached, he noticed a dozen of kids sitting beneath the tree, all watching and listening to the warm voice of the girl while she was narrating from the book she was reading. The boy joined the other kids and they smiled at him, like they were expecting him to come... Never in his life he had seen such a beautiful girl - like she was herself part of the colourful tree - enjoying the sun that seemed to be shining just for her, neither had he ever heard such a warm voice that in another life probably belonged to an angel... From time to time the girl grabbed a piece of fruit from the tree, and gently throw it down to the kids. They were all eating with big taste and the boy noticed they all had different fruit. When he raised his hand to get his part of fruit, the girl winked, inviting him to climb up to her branch to get it himself... Without an hesitation the boy stepped forward, and climbed up the tree. When he was near to the branch where the girl was sitting, she reached for his hand to pull him over... when suddenly the boy's foot slipped away and before he could take her hand he fell down all the way to the ground...

Next thing John heard was a woman's voice: "The patient is stable, doctor"...

John's eyes slowly fluttered opened. The first thing in his mind was that he thought he saw a beautiful angel lounging down on him. So beautifully dazzling in white gown that he didn't want to close his eyes afraid that the angel would be gone when he closed them again. John tried to raise his left hand to reach the angel but the helpless effort made him feel desperate. Then slowly his eyes caught the simmering light surrounding him and the familiar scent of hospital brought him back to the painful state of his head.

"Th ... thirs ... thirsty...." his stuttering voice seemed to come out from nowhere.

In a minute John felt soft fingers giving him a touch of cool water to his lips. He longed for more but stern voice to steady him back to the hospital bed was enough to remind him of the sore feeling of his head rushing back. John was vaguely aware of catching words "... patient ... lucky ... bullet ... alive ... message ... captain ..." before swimming back to oblivious ...

He still could clearly see her running along the sea shore before sunset, laughing softly and spreading her arms wide above her head. She was wearing a light brown dress that fitted her very well and matched with her hazel brown eyes. How he always loved her laughter. So pure, so free, so happy. And then she would stop her running and turned her head to him, waiting for him to catch her up with a lovely smile on her beautifully carved lips. Lips he adored so much even when she pouted. John loved the way she expressed her feelings towards anything she felt. He didn't expect it differently anyway as he always wanted her happiness above everything. It was her idea to go the beach right before sunset as she always adored that moment. He remembered she said that no matter the sun would go down on a day, it would come back to bring another hopeful day. He couldn't agree more with what she said as he also always hoped for something better for the new day. Everyday.

It took John a few days to recover and get sence of the real world again. It took him five minutes to realize the weird situation he was in. This was not a real hospital. There were not the usual instruments and furniture John knew from regular hospital. There are no plastic flowers in real hospital rooms. This was not a usual nurse. Normally, nurses don't wear guns. This was not a doctor standing on the doorstep of his room, keeping an eye on him and trespassing eventual visitors. Doctors have stethoscopes... not automatic rifles. Beside that, doctors don't wear military outfit... John realized he was at mercy of bad guys. Good guys don't handcuff patients to the bed. "Oh, my God!" John thought, "am I a prisoner?". The answer came real soon. Trough the doorway a bearded man came in, followed by an armed man from which John could swear he was a twin brother from the fake "doctor" guarding the door. The man spoke bad English but John understood enough to understand he was a hostage and they would release him when they got the money they needed. "A ransom?" John replied... "But,... I am nobody!" he shouted. The bearded man nodded and turned to the twin brother while saying something John understood as "That's what they all say..." and "the captain said this guy is important and worth plenty of money..." and a moment later they had left the room. John was in panic. What are they going to do with me? A ransom? Who will pay a ransom for me? Who knows I am here? Where am I actually? I must escape from this place, before they find out nobody is going to pay a penny for me! John looked quickly at his arms and the part of his chest he could see on his opened shirt. "Damn! No tattoos!... Wrong story!". He had to find a way out anyway... and quickly!

While a plan to escape was taking shape in his mind, he thought of Suzie... his love so far away, waiting for him... What will she think when the ship arrives and he isn't on board? Will the ship arrive anyway? Will she think he changed his mind... eventually didn't want to see her again? Will she wait for him? Will her love be strong enough? Will come the day they shall meet eye to eye for real... Will these people understand that him being "important" is only for that one special person, waiting for him in a port far away... All those questions went trough his mind and overwhelmed by the emotions he fell back in a restless sleep...

John had the strangest dream. He was in a dark alley dimly lit by street lights. He didn’t know why he was there. He thought he just went to the restroom at a bar he was in after a couple of drinks. He stepped through a backdoor to get some fresh air as he felt the air in the bar was too heavily smoked with cigarettes that he was afraid it might cause the fire alarm ring.

Outside he could feel the cold wind of the night and wished he still had his jacket on as he realized he left it on the chair in the bar. John couldn’t get back in yet as his lungs still needed more fresh air and he decided to bear the freezing feeling of the wind. But he couldn’t stand it too long as he suddenly started to have a strange feeling that he was not alone anymore there. Near the closest street light he could see a shadow moving along the wall. John’s heartbeat began to pound harder as the shadow got closer to where he was standing. He wanted to run to the backdoor but his legs stood still as if he couldn’t order them to move.

Slowly the shadow came closer to him and his eyes met the most beautiful eyes he’s ever seen. They mesmerized him that John could do nothing but staring at them. They belonged to a dark-haired slim girl about Suzy’s height wearing a dark blue sheer cotton dress. She was eerily beautiful walking slowly towards him that John wondered why a beautiful girl could end up being in an alley at this very hour. John wanted to say something but his words never came out when he saw the girl smiled. It was also a beautiful smile that made John smiled back at her. Then he saw the girl’s arms slowly raised and the next thing he knew they were circling his neck. She was even more beautiful when John gazed deeply into her beautiful eyes still not knowing why she was doing that. Every nerve ending in his skin was aware of her delicate body leaning on him. John didn’t know why he had a strong urge to close his eyes and tilted his neck. It was then when he could feel her warm breath on his neck he thought he had to do something. Before he could break this awkward moment, suddenly he felt a burning sting on his neck …

John woke up with a strange noise suddenly buzzing in his head. For seconds he didn’t realize where he was. He looked at the window near his bed and noticed it was still dark. Suddenly he remembered his dream and with trembling hands he searched the telltale puncture on his neck. He jerked his hands and he gasped.

She looked up from her book when another police car passed with whining sirens. Clearly there was something happening at the port. She had been sitting on this terraces since hours now, waiting for the boat to arrive. Of course she knew exactly when arrival of the "Caribbean Princess" was scheduled. Wasn't she grown up after all surrounded by water - her foreign friends used to call her "Island girl" - and that had made her familiar with boats and port traffic. Combined with her female intuition she got that annoying feeling now that there was something wrong. Police cars with flashing lights heading in the direction of the boats arrival ground wasn't a good sign ether. The Island of Portsmouth had only one port and she knew exactly where that boat was going to enter the port, and from where she was sitting she had a perfect view to notice all arrivals and departures of the different ships. She couldn't wait any longer, she had to find out what was happening. She couldn't concentrate on her book any more anyway; while waiting here at the café, she had been reading pretty interested in the last book she acquired. The book's title "Vampires Next Door" had drawn her attention at her last visit to the book shop. Ever since she had taken the book with her and while reading it she could really get lost from this world... She finished her tea, put the book away in her bag and took her purse to pay the bill. While looking for some money, she noticed a man approaching her table. As she was this morning the only customer taking a drink on the terraces, she presumed the man was coming towards her with the intention to talk to her. The man was dressed with a black costume and his dark sunglasses gave him a very official look. "Excuse me, ma'am", the man in black introduced himself, "is your name Suzan?"... She nodded, "hum..." - the man continued - "are you waiting for a boat arrival?". Another nod "yes, Sir, but how?..." the man interrupted here: "look, there's been a problem with the ship You are waiting for...". These words cut trough her heart like a knife... "A problem, Sir? What... what do you mean?". "I'm sorry, Miss Suzan, I'm not authorized to tell you more, but I must kindly insist you follow me to the command centre...". Susan was completely upset about this. "Command centre?"... What the hell was going on? What was wrong? She could have known... Ever since she gave that message to the captain of the Caraibian Princess, she had wondered if this was a good decision. Shouldn't she have listened to her heart, go on-board and sail to John herself? But - although she knew their love was true and they just belonged to each other - she was afraid to suddenly show up in front of him, knowing that would completely change the life they were living now for such a long time... She thought they better could meet first - in a rather official way - and talk it over with an open mind... Love is all that matters, true, but that doesn't mean it is easy to give up the people you live with, those you love and/or love you. (Do you have to give up everything anyway?) Those questions had been haunting her for such a long time now...

"Lady, are you with me?" the official interrupted her thoughts, while they approached a black van guarded by a - machine gun equipped - police man, " we have some news about your friend, but you are not going to like it...".

Susan fainted...

The next thing Suzan saw was a dark shadow towering over her helpless body laying down on a soft couch. She didn’t remember why she was there and what she was doing. Slowly the shadow came focused on a pair of dark glasses on a man dressed in black costume. The man lifted his right hand and offered her a glass of water. Suzan wanted to raise up and she felt the man’s other hand slid down her shoulders to help her.
“Slowly, ma’am.” His cool words seemed penetrating Suzan’s mind when suddenly his last word came to her awareness. She felt adrenalin rushed her blood and suddenly jerked her body up.
John!” Suzan squeaked. She spilled some water from the glass and the man had to steady her to prevent further moves.
“Calm down, lady. We won’t hurt you. Just sit back and listen to us carefully.”
She noticed the man mentioned “we” instead of “I” and her eyes started to look for the other person. But nobody was there except her and the black costumed man.
“Are you feeling better now, lady?” The man straightened up and Suzan could see that he had a well-built body. She still didn’t know who this man was and certainly he had some news about the man she has been waiting for. Everything looked gloomy sensing John might be in trouble although she could still see sunlight pouring over the window.
“Uh, yeah, I’m alright. Tell me what happened to the ship? And who are you? How do you know that I was waiting for the ship arrival? What is this command centre you mentioned about? Is this some kind of game ? I tell you mister, you’d better tell me everything. Now!” And with her worried pleading eyes she added, “Please … “
“You’d better come with me to this command centre and we will tell you everything there.”
The man again said in his cool tone then turned his body and started walking towards the door of the café. Gathering her purse Suzan stood up quickly and followed him to a black van awaiting outside with a policeman with a gun standing near the van passenger door.
When they arrived to the van, the man took out a handkerchief from his pocket and started moving around behind Suzan.
“I’m sorry, but I have to do this.” Suzan’s back became rigid but she couldn’t say anything as the man closed her eyes with the handkerchief and tied it around her head. She heard the sliding sound of a door opened and realized it must be the other man did it.
“Watch your step and get inside.” She heard a harsh voice and guessed it must be coming from him too as she still remembered the other man’s voice had a softer side. She almost stumbled in the complete darkness surrounded her inside the van trying to sit herself down. She heard clothes rustling sitting beside her and then felt the van moved.

"I WANT HIM OUT OF HERE!"... The discussion had been going on for minutes just outside his room. Through the thin wall he had heard every word of it. John recognized the voice of the leader - as that's what the bearded man he had seen earlier seemed to be - and he suspected they were talking about him... "There's been nothing but trouble since this man was brought here..." he could hear the man continue... "We already lost 4 men in two nights... this can't be a coincidence!" "But,..." (John recognized the twin brother's voice) "This man has been handcuffed and tight with a chain to his bed since then, and I keep the key always on me... he can't be responsible for this..." The bearded man replied: "You can think what you want, but I want him out of here tonight, you understand me?..." Then John heard footsteps fading away... the discussion was over. What the hell was happening here? Was that really about him they were talking? What did he do? Since he had that strange dream meeting that woman in the dark alley he had been mostly sleeping. Whenever awake he had been very hungry, as if there was something burning inside of him. He still couldn't explain how he got those marks on his neck, neither could he find out where the fresh blood spots came from he discovered every morning on his shirt. Frightening.

John shivered. Although the windows were blinded on the outside, he could see trough some narrow openings the evening was falling. He got a strange feeling... He heard a key unlocking his door and the nurse he had seen earlier came in with the twin brothers. "Well, well,..." John thought... "what have we here? Lara Croft and the Gibson brothers?". He looked at them with a little smile while they approached the bed. The nurse said "prepare yourself, Mister, we're moving you out of here!" One of the brothers pointed his machine gun at him and the other took his handcuffs off. The chain dropped to the floor with a sound of metal and a moment later John was on his feet and ready to walk. John thought that being paralysed on his bed for a couple of days would have stiffened his legs, but he felt remarkable fit and ready for some action. He felt a gun pushed in his back while the nurse walked towards the door and one of the twin brothers said "walk!", giving him no other option than following his "escort" outside the room. THey walked along a long, dark corridor, and John noticed there where a lot of rooms with guards posted on the doors, but none off them seemed to notice him when they passed along.

Suddenly a explosion made the building tremble...

"Undercover? Me?!..." Susan replied surprised, "You must be kidding!"... The man with the "soft" voice tried to calm her down: "Listen, miss, we have all reasons to believe your friend has been involved in a complicated situation, and without your help we will never be able to get him out of there." Suzan replied: "Well, mister - isn't it btw about time you're going to tell me what's your name - I really have to know what this is all about before throwing myself in such a mysterious adventure, don't you think?" "Hmm..." replied the man, "I understand you have questions, but I'm not allowed to reveal you anything at this moment, except that..." "Twenty-five minutes to target, Sir" a voice said trough the speaker of the chopper. They had been flying for hours now. Suzan remembered they had taken off from the local airport after her blinded trip in the black van. "This is the situation:" the man she was speaking with continued, "we spotted a "suspicious" shipment left the continent by boat, to be delivered to an organization we suspect to have vicious plans. The shipment is in a sealed container locked by a secret code. The code is unbreakable. Any attempt for opening the container without the code will provoke destruction from the contents." Susan raised her hand "wait a moment, what's the problem? Destroy the bloody container and your shipment is history, no?" but the man replied: "It's not that simple, lady, look: we believe there's nuclear material involved and destroying the lot could lead to a gigantic disaster..." the man sighed, "we have to act fast and accurate, without any hesitation." "ok", Suzan replied, "I understand, but... what do I have to do with this? How can I help? What has John to do with all this? He isn't a terrorist! Is he in trouble? I have to know!" The man continued: "ok, again: I am not authorized to reveal you anything about this operation, but soon we'll arrive at the HQ in zone Zulu, where your role will be explained. What I'm going to tell you now may provoke a shock to you, but I think you'd better be prepared to what they are going to tell you there. Listen. Your friend happened to be on the ship with the suspicious cargo. There is one man that knows the unlock code of the container, and he was travelling on the same ship to an unknown destination in the East. Probably Russian. Somewhere on his way, the ship was attacked by Somalian deserted warriors, and passengers and cargo were taken into custody. There are lots of containers on that ship and the warriors have no idea one of them is extremely important to us. To make it more complicated, the man that knows the code was also captured during the attack of the ship, but he got killed later in an attempt to run away. Lucky for us we have an agent of ours between the Somalian fighters - disguised as a nurse - and she managed to get to know the unlock code before he died. Afraid to blow up her cover, she transferred the code to a chip and When your friend was captured and and chained to a bed, she managed to inject him with the chip to be safe..." " Inject the chip?" Suzan replied, "what do you mean? Where?" The man continued: "She planted the chip in his neck, just under the skin, the place where it can be read easily with a chip-reader without having to take off any clothes... it's a common place to hide secret information for quick data transfer between agents... We call it the 'Dracula spot', I suppose you know why?" Suzan nodded... "Of course I know why..." She suddenly had a flashback about her staying in Paris with John, when they had that cute conversation lying on the bed in the hotel. They had spend such a nice and pleasant day, enjoying themselves and walking around visiting all kind of places - he didn't stop telling her all day how wonderful and beautiful he found her, using every opportunity to kiss her and exchange romantic and lovely eye-catches... She smiled when she remembered how they passionately kissed right under the Eiffel-tower, without bothering the people around looking at them with - mostly amused - faces. When they finally found themselves on the bed, their hair still wet from the shower, he was wearing nothing but shorts and she had her gorgeous pyjamas with Donald Duck figures - she remembered how they did fight to be 'on top', the best place to give the other a loving "Dracula-kiss" in the neck... what a coincidence... "But..." Suzan continued, "What do you want me to do, Sir?" the man replied: "Miss Suzan, we have a very important role for you. We don't want our agent to take any risk to be discovered, and we know John trusts you with his life. We want you to join the Somalian fighters group undercover - like our agent did - and get in contact with your friend. You can try to save him if you want, but we need the information - the code - he has on him. It is vital and extremely important - a matter of life and dead - that we get that unlock code, so we can neutralize that weapon shipment. Right now there is one of our teams getting ready to recover that container." He paused for a moment... "You think you can do it?" And the man explained the plan that they would drop her during the night nearby the place where John was supposed to be hold captured. Once she found him they would have to make a fire on the beach and the chopper would come and get them back home... It looked so simple...

Suzan thought for a moment, then she answered: "Sir, this is the man I want to give my life for,... I will do anything to save him. I don't care a damn about your chip - you can have it once I got my man back - and I will take any risk to get him back. We have a deal, John and me, we agreed to meet again... and meet we shall!"

The chopper began its descent... "target in view, please prepare for landing..." she heard trough the speaker. "Ow, Ms Suzan, one last thing" yelled the man towards her through the sound of the chopper engines, "HQ in zone Zulu has just been blown away... think you should know you're not the only player on the scene; those people the weapons were intended for... they are also doing an attempt to get the container back, seems they know you're coming, and... they know John has the unlock key... be careful!" Suzan sighted... "I'll get him... just watch me!" and she jumped out of the chopper before it touched ground...

He saw someone jump out of the chopper just before it touched ground, and quickly run to some bushes nearby while the chopper turned to fly away... They never saw it coming but it got hit by rocket fire from a building roof nearby... The chopper exploded in a mighty flash and burning debris fell shattered in the water. Then the night went dark again. He wasn't at all surprised the chopper had been shot down, he knew the coast was guarded very well, but he focused his binoculars to the figure that was hiding in the bushes... "Well well... I'll be damned!... Suzan?!". He couldn't believe his eyes. What a surprise! And he thought he'd foreseen everything. The man without a real name - everyone calls him The Fox - lowered his binoculars. He spoke some orders in a nearby microphone. This operation wasn't running at all like he planned. He pushed a button on his mobile. "Fox here," he spoke with an angry voice, "what in the world are you planning, guys? I just saw one of your choppers go down, just after dropping someone on Zulu beach... You guys think it's a child's play or what!?" He listened for a moment, slammed his phone close and switched the Infrared button on his binoculars to the 'on' position again. "So, Suzie darling, are you a rescue operation by night on your own now?..." he mumbled in himself. Although he didn't care about her any more since long, he watched her with growing interest approaching the building from which the rockets that hit the chopper had been fired. He recognized clearly her elegant figure and could feel her determination. They had been married long enough before they separated a few years ago...

Can you still follow?

Some of you may think we go to fast. You may be right, but... that's how live goes in the service room. Maybe a small reminder will refresh what's happening in chapter five of John's story. It might help to pick up where we stranded and maybe inspire some of you to write their own part of the story. You should. In part 253 of the movie series "Planet of the Apes", star travellers will find the debris of the ISS that crashed on the Island where John and Suzie finally escaped to with their kids, to live thereafter for ever happy. The logbook would show the crew died after they were poisoned by drinking their own urine as the filtering machine was "made in Taiwan" and programmed by Microsoft... The only artefact that could be recovered was an old laptop with a DVD inside, dusty but still readable. The DVD was entitled: "The story of John", an ebook entirely written by users of the legendary site mobilism... may they be remembered for ever...

Here is what we have so far:

The International Crime Watch Unit - ICWU, formally known as the RIAA, but went bankrupt because useless - has tracked a nuclear shipment heading for an unknown destination. A criminal organization leaded by "the Fox" - supposed formally known as one-legged Ian, and been married for many years to Suzan - is behind this dangerous traffic. By coincidence - or is it not? - John happens to be invited by Suzan to travel with the same ship to his destiny, although it's not yet very clear what that destiny might be... The ship is attacked by Somalian fighters, the load gets stolen and passengers captured. John is held captured and gets injected with a chip by an undercover agent of the ICWU. The chip - planted skin deep in his neck - contains the code to open the container containing the nuclear device. In an attempt to recover the dangerous container the ICWU has spotted Suzan, waiting for the ship with John to arrive. While she is asleep after fainting in the café, a digital reading device is implanted in one of her front teeth... Suzan is not aware of this but the organization hopes that way to read the chip on John's neck once they meet, as they know from observation that kissing on the neck is their way to show affection to each other... Next step was to bring Suzie to Somalia in an attempt to make her go undercover and join the group that holds John captive. Just after jumping out of the chopper on Somalian coast the chopper gets shut down and Suzie is left on her own to find John... While the Fox is watching her from his boat she approaches the building from where the rockets were fired. In the meantime John was transferred from his "prison" room when the exploding chopper made the building tremble...

To be continued... (?)

John was thrown to the ground by the impact of the explosion. "Chopper down!" yelled a voice... A moment later the corridor was filled with dust and the lights went out. There were people running on and off in panic, and nobody seemed to notice him any more. He decided to grab this chance and made a run to the door on the end of the corridor, from which he expected it could be the way out of his prison. He feared to hear any moment some machine gun spitting bullets his way, but he managed to keep running along the dark corridor, and safely made it to the door. Just when he reached the door it opened before him...

Suzan left the bushes and headed for the building. The building was heavenly guarded but from the rooftop the guards couldn't see her now that she was so close. It wasn't a secret any more she was here, anyway. Beside that, the construction looked strongly shaken by the explosion of the chopper and the people on the rooftop had other things on their mind than looking around. Suzan could see several windows were broken and dust coming out from deep inside the building. A guard was laying on the ground beside the door. By the wound on his head Suzan could see he had probably been hit by a piece of the exploding helicopter. Nobody could help this guy any more... Suzan looked away and reached for the door. She pushed it firmly, it unlocked and swung open to the inside...

The Fox was looking trough his binoculars, and followed Suzan reaching the building. He hit the intercom button and spoke a few words to someone that had been waiting since a few hours to get the message: "Action time, gentlemen, let's get our client's package back!". A few minutes later a couple of speed boats left the mother ship and headed towards the coast line. The dark silhouettes on board looked sharp as a knife and one could sense these guys were prepared to anything to fulfil the task they were hired for. Just before leaving they had been briefed by their team leader to get the package back at any cost, and... to take no prisoners...

John was blinded by the light of the suddenly opening door, but could see someone standing in the door opening...
Suzan saw a dark silhouette of a man approaching the door opening trough a dusty corridor...
"Take that nest down!" yelled the team leader to one of his man in front of the first speedboat while the man aimed his rocket launcher to the roof top...

"Suzie?... Is that you?
"J... J... John?"
The rooftop was blown away with a mighty explosion, like hit by a bomb... KABOOM!!!...

Err... What's the matter, guys? Out of stories? Lost inspiration? You must be kidding! Two people have to suffer all these adventures to meet, and when they do... you lost your inspiration? Jeez... Love is a strange thing. Ok. Let me try... Ahum...

The explosion blew them away from the building into the bushes. While the building collapsed behind them, Suzie landed on her back like unconscious, and John felt himself thrown on top of her. His bare chest touched her barely covered breasts and he could feel the heat of her body, like she was burning from within. This was the moment they had been waiting for since so long... With his hand he gently pushed her hair away from her face and looked at her... He found her more beautiful than ever... Some debris fell around them to the ground... She gasped while she opened her eyes, looked into his and he felt them say yes to his unpronounced question, and she closed them again while their lips touched... Their kiss brought back all the memories from their Story... how they met in that karaoke bar, how he took her home and their first rendezvous in the hotel... their weekend in Paris and how they walked together on the beach... how they separated, thinking it was the only way to make an end to this impossible love affair... how they realized their love was so strong that they had to meet again...

That night in those bushes, John and Mary consumed their love with the passion they had dreamed of so long. They promised to never separate again...

The boat was laying in the endless pool of the Mediterranean Sea. No wind, not a noise... only water and sun. Some mechanical sounds were heard on the backside of the yacht, and several times the engines were started and shut again. Susan appeared on deck in her gorgeous red swimsuit, holding a platter with two glasses. When she reached the back of the boat, John's head suddenly appeared above deck, and he smiled at her, as he recognized the song she was singing. It was the same song as the evening they met at that karaoke bar... "Still not happy the way the engines work darling?" she asked while she handed him one of her self-made cocktails, and he replied, "not yet, sweetheart... I want everything on this boat to be as perfect as you are..." She blushed "John..." and he gave her one of his warm tender kisses, like he had been spamming her with since the moment they left shore a few days ago. He turned her around and with her back gently pressed against his chest they watched out over the sea. He never had felt so happy. He kissed her hair and caught her gorgeous smell in his moustaches... Gosh! He felt crazy about her! Although it was warm, Suzan shivered, and he could feel the way she felt comfortable in his arms, she was feeling great too... They thought about what happened, how faith brought them together, how finally they could make their wish to be together concrete, although they had been living their own lives since so long, thinking this was the way it should be, fooling themselves they were happy... They had escaped from the Island and build up a new life. John wrote down his story - how they met and the hijacking - alternating hours of writing with lovemaking, Suzie revealed herself to be his most critical reader - her eyes the most unexplored source of inspiration - and romantic evenings were filled with memories and tenderness... When John's manuscript was ready, they found a publisher and the book became an international best-seller in no time. They bought a boat and sailed around the world having beautiful time on most exotic beaches and visiting places until then they only dreamed of... While they were thinking about all this, staring over the blue sea, enjoying the feeling of each other's body, John lowered his hands and gently caressed her belly... Only a few months to go for their baby girl to become part of their never-ending journey trough happiness...
