Epub, then pdf. Epub because I can read it easily on my phone or e-reader (well, I could back when my e-reader recognized SD cards - I need to get a new one! at least my phone still works for that), and pdf because it's the easiest to read on the computer. I have an epub reader on my computer but it has issues with epub formatting and doesn't respect empty lines and whatnot, so unless it's a story with absolutely no pictures at all, a pdf renders much better on-screen. For cookbooks, a pdf is definitely the best, for instance.

Epub is my favorite due to it's being more of a reader/user friendly format and is mostly widely used format on novels I read; then mobi which is almost same as epub. Next is pdf when the e-book is about journals and publications or researches or picture heavy books. And then txt, then others.
