i used to exclusively read and collect iSilo PDB.

now, aanything i can get.. iSilo seems to have been abandoned

Definitely ePub because it works on almost every device so I can easily transfer between my devices and share the books with friends and is far superior to pdf. It’s also great for iPhone as I can download it directly and just open in iBooks right away.
I did like Mobi when I used a kindle though but it was a pain when I had to spend ages converting things from ePub to mobi in Calibre as I like to add books in bulk.

EPUB I can use it in more of my devices.
pdf for sewing. I use an iPad for that

Epub of course, it's the most flexible as many others have mentioned. Sometimes though I like to read a well formatted PDF on my laptop (as long as it's around 100 pages).

I like epubs for fiction, but I do like pdfs on my tablet for anything that has pictures (cookbooks, craft books etc)

pdf or epub, doc is the worst.

Grab CALIBRE its a free proggy that will easily convert epub into mobi that can be used by kindle ....

Why? Because my first ebook reader was a Nook followed by a Nexus 7 and when it died I bought a Samsung Tab S3.
Using the Moon Plus reading app I find the Epub format the easiest and I like the page turning animation.
