I don't really care about Apple, but the Safari browser, so far, isn't too shabby...

...but at the end of the day I end up using several browsers (Opera, Maxthon, IE 7, Firefox) because one excels in a certain department...

Safari:
Interesting method for word searching in pages
Text appears silky when viewing sites
Supprisingly faster when loading and saving pages but images aren't saved, i guess i have to enable it first in preferences?

hmm might try safari soon. been using Opera from the v6 days, was always my favourite and i reckon its the fastest especially if you are on dialup). Use IE at work though.

yeah, apple sux imho. unless youre into design, then they are good, but other than that, i stick to Micro$oft

I love Safari. Easy to use and fast.

still mozilla firefox for me. safari is sexy and all, but it feels a little too clumsy.

The safari browser is far more sophisticated for windows. Apple creates beauty and the safari looks like a pearl(Safari) in shit(windows os)

dang... ever since i installed safari months ago i only use for a few times only! I almost forgot i even got it still in my pc...

I do believe that apple products are made by geniuses who only want to give the best experince for its users, but you know what they say... when you're in rome do what the romans do... Apple, to me, is still at a distant galaxy somewhere...

firefox all the way. I stopped liking IE after 6.0 and Firefox works great and is easy to use. Lets see what apple has these days.

As mentioned by nonstandardized2k6 some posts back, I too find Safari for Windows a bit clumsy. I've been on Firefox for some time now, and I'm too pampered and used to its power, flexibility and ease-of-use to let it go.

With Firefox, it really feels like the browser is working for me and not the other way round. I've tried IE7, Opera 9x, Maxthon, Safari and even Netscape, but I keep coming back to Firefox. Am on the Bon Echo 2.0.0.10x nightly release, currently.

Firefox is the descendant of Netscape.. that's what came of it. Money is powerful, but it doesn't win in all cases.

I end up using Safari and Firefox on my MacBook Pro. When I download stuff, I do it on safari, it is much faster, but when I visit PPCWarez and other warez sites, I use Firefox because of the easy "Clear Private Data". I usually have safari downloading some stuff in "Space 1" in leopard, have firefox in "Space 3".
