One of the best I’ve read recently was ‘Strange the Dreamer’ by Laini Taylor
One of my favourite reads is the Princess Bride.

You can try something by Janny Wurts. She has standalone novels, a trilogy, another trilogy co-written by Raymond E Feist, a short story collection and an almost finished epic fantasy.
Also:
Martha Wells - The Murderbot Diaries #1 and #2 - All Systems Red and Artificial Condition (they are both novellas);
Jim C. Hines - Jig the goblin trilogy and his new Terminal Alliance (#1 of Janitors of the Post-Apocalypse)
Adrian Tchaikovsky - Children of Time (more SF than Fantasy, but still)
Seanan McGuire - October Daye series (urban fantasy with not so much sex), Indexing duology, and a whole bunch of other books. She also writes as Mira Grant.
Ursula Veron - Castle Hangnail (for children, but still good). She writes more grown up stuff as T. Kingfisher.
Chris Wooding - The Tales of the Ketty Jay (4 books - series complete)
Steven Brust - Vlad Taltos series
Tanya Huff - Vicki Nelson series (non-sparkly vampires and detective type urban fantasy)
Patricia Briggs - Mercy Thompson series (urban fantasy with limited romance). She also has some standalone fantasy novels.
Jim Butcher - Dresden Files (the series gets better after book 3)
Patricia McKillip - anything by her.
Kathryn Meyer Griffith - Dinosaur Lake series

pritam8875, I strongly, heartily, insistingly and pestiferously recommend the Codex Alera series by Jim Butcher and the Deathstalker series by Simon Green. If you haven't read these two series yet, then you have a great treat in store for you. Enjoy!

Lindsay McKenna's Warriors for the Light series is pretty awesome, especially the book: "Reunion".
