You should read fashionably dead series by Robyn peterman. Its a great series funny. The characters of these book are funny. Specially Astrid who is the main character in most series. She has a foul mouth. And she use it very often the language of this book is so funny . U should
give it a try

I don't know what kind of books do you like, but even if you are not much into sci-fi like me, i gotta reccomend The End Of Eternity by Isaac Asimov.
Its really good, i gave it a try just to try something different and it positively surprised me.

As for short stories, The Diary of a Madman and The Portrait by Gogol are great

can't recommend Brian Greene and Michio Kaku high enough (as long as your into astrophysics etc). Excellent reads and understandable for the layman...

I watched a movie the other day called Downsizing. Matt Damon is in it. It was funny, dramatic and thought provoking. I personally think the main idea of the movie is amazing and would do it myself.

If you haven`t read it already, I cannot recommend the book Snow Crash enough. It was written in the early 90s and has an element to it that fans of Ready Player One will recognize: the artificial world people can escape to. But it`s more than that. Much more.

Do you watch any tv series? If you're interested there's one called "The Magicians". Its based on a novel by Lev Grossman. Its about a guy named Quentin Coldwater who discovers that the magical world from his favorite childhood books is real. It currently has three seasons released.

Highly recommend The Thing About Jellyfish by Ali Benjamin. Although aimed at middle school readers, the story hits all age levels as it makes one think about whether or not life and death, love and friendship, and everything else in the human world has meaning.

Do you watch Anime? There`s a movie namely Kimi no na wa(Your Name), and its great. Two person exhange body while they are asleep and strange things happen. Really recommended! Also take a look at Koe no katachi(A Silent Voice). Both are available in dub.

Hello. I recomand you this TV series ``Altered Carbon``. It is an American dystopian science fiction cyberpunk series based on the 2002 novel of the same title by the author Richard K. Morgan. Also this TV series is based on the first book, but you can download from here the second and third book in this series

Hi,
I don't read many books but watch several anime. If you haven't seen Assassination Classroom, I recommend watch it. It's hilarious show about the classroom who has mission to kill their own teacher. It's pretty fun.
