I am working for an onine company that needs native English speakers, the hours are semi flexible and the pay is good. (The $1200 in the title comes from my own work last month, 15 hours a week)
You will need a half decent internet connection and be able to work with children aged 4 - 16, all of the work is given to you so you don't need to prepare anything.
While you do need to put in a minimum amount of hours per week, you will be paid for hours that you do not have a class to teach.

Anyone interested?

Assuming a month is 4 weeks, and you are working 15 hours a week, that is $1200 for 60 hours. That is $20/hr which is about average for online English tutoring it seems. I would be interested to see what kind of hoops tutors would have to jump through as well as payment fees, method, and time zone.

You're right about the pay, although it differs depending on skill and qualifications. As for jumping through hoops... not really, I did have a little stumble with the company at first but that was due to the recruiter using poor grammar. I've been paid correctly on time each month, pay plus bonus for meeting goals.

The hours are semi-flexible, to be honest I forget what the rules say about that part of it all, but I know that they do have rules.

The work hours are 18:00 - 21:00 GMT+8 through the week and then there are daytime hours for the weekend, so it all depends on how much you want to work and of course where you live can have an impact on what hours you take.

As for payment fees and methods, again it depends. You can get paid to your bank account anywhere in the world but you will be charged a fee for that and may have a slight delay in getting the payment through, you can use a few online methods which are same day payment and are free... so up to you on how you want to do it.

Any more info you would like then please feel free to send me a message and I will answer as soon as I can.

If you would like to apply then message me and I will send my referral link
(I get a bonus if you use my link and get a job)

Would you say you are a "top earner" on this site? In other words, is your paycheck indicative of "average earnings" if a tutor worked as many hours as you? I don't mind giving it a shot, but I did not consider doing it in the past because the rates were <50% what I usually charge for tutoring math online (clients in my local area).

How much prep work is there? Are you responsible for lesson plans, or is this more like talking to "foreign students" and helping them improve their English conversation skills/idioms? Does the website provide guidance? Are they easy to contact and do they have someone there who speaks English well enough to communicate with?

Do you mind sharing what website it is (publicly) so I can look up reviews? The hours are 6 am - 9 am EST for weekdays which isn't terrible. Based on timezone, these are Asian students. Does the website require you to have formal teaching schooling, or experience? Do you have to submit your college diploma or something? How do they filter out tutor applicants?

What do you personally get paid with? PayPal? Direct deposit?

What do people using your referral code get, or is this only benefiting you as the referrer? I don't mind using a code if you offer some guidance through their application process (win-win for both of us).

I am middle of the road in the pay scale, it can go from $16 to $25 depending on a few factors (do you have a degree, TEFL or TESL. How well you do in the interview and demo class etc)

There is zero prep work for the teacher as it is all provided in the online class by the company, you can review the work before hand if you want or you can jump right in to the lesson. There are pointers provided in the class for the teacher to help you guide the children towards what should be done, what they ought be learning and taking away from the page or lesson.

There is a customer service group which handles problems you may have and they run 12 hours a day along side an IT department, I have never had a problem with them when I have had to deal with them myself. As I posted before though I did have a problem with the recruiter I spoke with when starting as she used the word "just" in place of "adjust" which caused me to have a slight problem but it was easily fixed, (it was a written conversation).

The company is called "Dada", They are based in China and have recently gone through a re-vamp of the company so I'm not sure what information you find will be relevant now. They used to require a degree for their teachers but as I said they have re-vamped their company and this is not the case any more, while it would help to reach the higher pay grade to have a degree and teaching experience it is not needed. They only require that you have a good internet connection (lan cable not wifi) and that your accent is clear.

I get paid straight to my bank each month and it arrives around the 13th/14th mark which is still earlier than the payment date stated in my contract. As I said though you can use paypal or a few other options depending on what you feel most comfortable with.

I'll be honest I've never signed anyone up, this my first go at even offering it to people.
I don't think there is a benefit to using my link over just going and signing up yourself but I'm more than happy to help and give whatever guidance you may want or need.

The link above is to their website, as I said if you do use that link to sign up and get the job (and you work a full month) then I get a bonus.
