Wow, great idea! what about adding it to avatar cataloge (this one what u can chose one after registering) couse here not all members will see it.
And one more thing - that animated ones - u maked it in what app? I've made userbars in adobe image ready, couse then quality was better than from other apps.

And about the size - I had an idea, but i dont know if itll make any diffrence. Make each of images in .gif format and then make from them one gif animated one. i never tried it befor, all my images was in jpg. Maybe itll make file smaller?
