If military/broship/harem/ecchi: heavy object
If isekai/fantasy/mecha: Knights & magic
If supernatural/comedy: mob psycho (they're on the 2nd season now)
If gambling/psychological/high school life: kakegurui (they're on the 2nd season now)
If mmorpg/action/adventure/fantasy: sword art online: alicization

I'm currently most of the way through My Roommate is a Cat. (9 episodes out of 12, from memory.) It's a really soft and easy-to-watch slice-of-life. The equivalent to sipping a cool glass of water on a hot summer's day. I highly recommend it, especially if you've ever owned a cat before!

Beyond that, the Fruits Basket reboot is excellent.

Currently Dororo. I have to finish watching Fist of the North Star. I had to do something and had to stop watching the movie.

One Outs and its surprisingly awesome. Never thought baseball anime could be so engaging. Although its less about baseball and more about mind games and high stakes gambling.
