So I want to play a movie with its DTS audio track on a smartphone (Redmi Note 6 pro) with my headphones (decent quality).
For some reasons I want to watch it on my phone only and no other device, although that would be better.
So would this make any difference or not in the overall experience?
Thanks for any suggestions and advice.

I'm not a sound expert but, it strikes me, that's a 'how long is a piece of string' type question. It all depends on what you're prepared to accept and find personally engrossing or entertaining. I've watched films on phones and thoroughly enjoyed them. I'm not sure I'd watch a special effects movie on a phone for the first time if I wanted to enjoy the special effects but that doesn't mean that an engrossing story line and witty script can't be just as engrossing or funny on a smaller screen.

A recent study actually showed that our ears can't distinguish between good quality audio and super high quality audio. As our ears are not super high quality audio detection devices.
