So lately i've been studying into the history of the Romans and the Greeks, However right at this present moment, I'll looking more into the Romans, Now i do plan to read in the coming days once my copy arrives of Edward Gibbons The History of the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire, But other than that i don't know what book to read, As such i now ask all of you, What book on Roman History should i read? Post any of your recommendations in the comments and i'll look into them.

I was referring to modern history books, Not the ancient texts, Those i already plan to read :)

Actually...we've found fragments of novels which go further before that, It's just that Petronius's Satyricon is the oldest relatively complete novel.

Even then it's not history and i already am aware of it.
