I remember this question from a philosophy taster session I attended, and was wondering if anyone would like to give their answer to it?

Here goes:

Would you rather live until you were 150 (totally impossible, but the point is in the idea) being completely miserable for the majority of this time, but knowing that you were helping thousands of people (for example, by curing horrendous diseases or through humanitarian work) or know that you were going to live a short life, and enjoy every SINGLE moment of it?

well, what i meant by "quality of life" is my health aspects. so realizing that after about 60 yrs old there are so many health issues, i'd rather have all my faculties in order to accomplish all my goals successfully, including how and where I'd be of a help to others, and trust me...in my real life this is certainly the case.
