I sent ours for modding two days ago so it should be back within a week. Now i need a site for roms (preferrably non-torrents). Any ideas?

dido, thanks so much for recommending that dude. He is amazing. I sent him my wii last wednesday and he did it all. Mine turned out to be a d2ckey so it was a little pricier (at 142$) but he's a really cool guy. He was going to send me some wii games along with the 2500 roms disk. What i think i'm going to do is download all the games for the systems up to the gamecube since they are smalled. Gamecube roms are only around 1 gig and all the others are super small. However, wii games are huge at around 4.5gb each. I'm currently downloading three but what i've decided to do is go rent them and make backups of those. Much easier and better.

Yeap, he is good!. I got mine and now is working rock solid. Very happy with the mod and highly recommended. I didn't get any games, because I downloaded plenty. there are plenty of torrents that are fast enough that you can download them in a couple of days. In the Wiiso website check out a topic called "Games on MegaUpload - 500mb files" where there are games that are downloaded fast and most of them are downloaded in less than a day.

If you have a choice of NTSC and PAL, just download NTSC roms and you'll be fine. But if you download PAL games (there are always tons of them), before burning them, use BrickBlocker and RegionFrii. First app is to Remove the updates (if any) that might brick your Wii. Second app is to change the region for any game that you might have, like from PAL to NTSC. I have tried with a bunch of PAL games that I've downloaded and so far the only that doesn't work is Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and is normal. Later on I checked the wii compatibility list (google it) and was one of the games that don't work on the region change.

I have even Need For Speed PAL and is in Spanish, and it sounds funny and weird (because the dialog and the menus are in Spanish), but hey, the game works perfect!

My first torrent (zelda twilight princess: PAL) finished downloading. I went to burn it to a dvd and everything went fine. I insert it into my wii and the spalsh screen on the top left shows the icon and when i click it, that nice introduction come. However, when i press A after that, it hangs on the black screen and doesn't get passed it at all. I then tried the Donkey Kong Barrell (NTSC) game and it worked fine! Does anybody know how i can get the zelda game to work? I've tried burning it many times and still no luck :(. Thanks

Check the media that you use. I now use DVD-R Verbatim and everything runs perfect. Burn your images with ImgBurn (free). Make sure you run RegionFrii and Brickblocker. Also check the Wii compatibility list.

I also use a dvd-r and ImgBurn. Also ran both of those program however i dindn't know how to use RegionFrii. It would prompt me with something and i'd press ok--the progress bar would never start.
