I have recently found myself hooked on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (2005-2014). Been viewing some videos posted on YT. Some episodes of the later seasons are there, but the quality is pretty bad in many cases. A lot of the posted videos are either portions of the episodes or compilations. No one has this show in syndication, nor is it available at the retail level or for streaming. From what I have read, CBS All Access had them posted for streaming until early 2015 when James Corden took over the show.

Anyway, I stumbled upon the following post regarding this show:

https://sharethefiles.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=124885

This one appears to be listing numerous episodes going back quite a ways, many of which I can't find anywhere else (mostly the 2008 to early 2010 episodes). It is also P2P, which I am aware of, but I have never worked with. I am trying to decide (a) if it is worth the trouble to figure out how to set up for P2P just for these episodes, and (b) the legal ramifications of downloading these shows. Determining the latter may dictate whether I will attempt the former.

Any comments or suggestions? If you prefer, please PM me.

There is a 1/14058 chance of being sued for the average pirate each year.
The majority of people aren't "sued", they are targeted via The Copyright Alert System or something similar...
Anyone using public torrent swarms should take steps to prevent being targeted.. VPN/Seedbox/Private trackers

I found this information here:

Whether downloading low-quality copies of a TV talk show with episodes 5 years or older will get one sued is probably not an issue. Especially since the TV talk show in question is not in syndication, nor available for streaming or for retail purchase. At least not the shows with Craig Ferguson as host (James Corden is the current host, and I could care less about him or his shows).

The bigger concern is setting up a PC to handle the ed2k links. There would seem to be a much greater risk of getting hacked or having to deal with malware and viruses than getting sued.

Probably not worth the trouble. I'm looking for about 50 or so episodes @ 350MB each and 624x352 resolution posted there, so not exactly very good quality for a 40 minute show.

I can find enough episodes to keep me busy for quite some time. Maybe in the interim someone will post them elsewhere (torrent, usenet, direct DL) before they disappear from ed2k.
