Microsoft for whatever lame excuse they present, are cutting out previous 25GB storage down to 7GB. So you can compare: Google Music allows 20,000 songs with a 250 MB limit per song which means in theory you can store up to 5TB. Dropbox uses a horrible of 2GB....

So go to https://skydrive.live.com/ManageStorage NOW (Do not even keep reading this post) and claim your free 25GB even if you dont use it for anything because simply you never know.

wdym with 'claim your free 25GB'? There isn't such option on the 'Manage storage' page?

Should be. It should show you as having 7GB right now. When you go to that page there is a "Free upgrade" button. Hit it and BOOM, 25GB

I might be looking at the wrong page, but this is how it looks like. Is it here I should expect that 'BOOM' button? (Maybe one should already been a 'customer' before this promotion took place? To avoid opportunists?)

If this is the first time you access SkyDrive maybe so. Also, this is not avaliable for new customers (you cant sign up for a NEW Hotmail account and get this)
