Nice poems, but why do I sense some feeling of loneliness, heartbroken and pain ? :?
Hope I was wrong!

need something more cheerful?

a small little bubble
blown from your lips
a tiny perfect bubble
bouncing as it drifts
till upon a tiny rock
or little blade of grass
with a tiny little bump
it's life here is dashed
the tiny little bubble
breaks upon the ground
and your tiny little breath
is free to dance around

a small little giggle
a tiny little smirk
over something quiet subtle
or some little quirk
rolling on the floor
laughing out loud
from jokes held inside
or ones in a crowd
laugh when you will
as long as you can
for a tiny little laugh
brings smiles to the land

If I kissed you, would you kiss me back
giving of your lips as I give of mine
If I gave you my heart, would you give yours in return
cherishing it as I cherish you
If I told you I love you, would you stay with me
loving me forever as love is eternal
If on some day, I offered you me
and everything that I am
could you, would you
marry me

Wow, nice collection, my friend! I enjoyed reading all those poems. Reminds me of my college time, studying literature too. But of course you are way much better in doing that,

What a beautiful collection. Makes us humble and look like amateurs...

Anyway, thank you for your input! :D

I had an assignment in an english course, to go outside university and collect pictures of slogans, graffiti, posters etc.. and from these words make a Poem, in the assignment no word (not even conjuctions) can be used if not photographed from something (must not be a book) so here
s what I came up with during the assignment which was allowed 2h30 at max.

Code: Select all7 to heaven

How to enter bliss,
Enjoy joy,
And lead a heavenly life
Between adrenaline rush and blue skies

Join the dance of hearts
And keep comfort sensations
Fruity instincts when Beauty strikes
Fresh eyes always live

Take a walk on the clouds
And have a drink at sky bar
City made in heaven
Serenity, a quality of life

Is it Karisma or la Bella Donna?
Religion feeding your hands and hearts
Heaven, an alternative dimension
Or Paradise at the end of time.

Wow... that's an original assignment, Elfahd. You did that magnificent! Amazing in such a short time. And? What did the teacher think of this? And did you actually take the pictures that are concerned in this work? Any chance of posting them (if not too many...).

Well done, anyway!

Makes it even more amazing how you could make such a lyric poem out of those pictures. While looking at them I am searching which sentences are assigned to what pictures... it's a great exercise that I invite everyone to try.

Wonderful.
