@Dowwi: I'd like you to think about an option that would make it possible for users to upload files, whereby the credits paid for every download would go to another account owner. That way it will make possible for users to make mirrors without abusing from original posters' work.

I give an example case. In my never lasting attempt to make our comics section' visitors have a comfortable stay, I've always been concerned about those who have a slow or painful internet connection. Therefore, I think small files are more appropriate for download, compared to large files, say 100 MB or more. I offer the service to split large files in several small files, that way making download to those interested less painful. Again, it doesn't seem fair against the original uploader, as eventual profits made that way are based on his sweat.

Hope you have an idea about what I mean. Thanks for thinking about it.

I really like the interface on Uplly, plus the fact that there is no wait time between downloads.
90 seconds wait time for unregistered users can be reduced to say, 60 seconds though.

It can actually be reduced to 45 seconds for registered users and will soon be apart of the Mobilism Downloader

i did like upply but since a few days it isn't working.when you click on download it redirects you to an advertisment .over and over again.so downloading from upply is out of the question here.neither are filesonic nor megaupload.

Every site needs to pay the bills with some method and most do choose advertisements. Though the download button should work once the advertisement has been displayed.

As a downloader (not uploader), a few comments: the captcha on this site are particularly hard to read (I have to refresh multiple times before I get two readable words/phrases). This is using Google Chrome. Second, as an unregistered user, Uplly links are prone to timing out, so that I have to go through the whole captcha thing all over again, sometimes several times. I'd say from my past experience that upply is going to be my last choice if there are other mirrors posted by an uploader. When it works, it works great. But I can't count on that.
