Is it really fixed, because I am having the same problem. Everything I search for comes up either nil, or gives me a list of random topics that have nothing to do with the author I'm searching for. And I was just trying to find a book posted that I looked at not 5 minutes ago, nothing. I think it's borken. (Glad to know my friends and I aren't the only ones with this as an inside joke. A friend of mine found it on a typed sign over a piece of office equipment. Lit BORKEN! We've been using it ever since.)

May I suggest that when mobilism search is "borked" it's still possible to use Google:
Just insert in the search site:forum.mobilism.org after the word (or string) desired.

Examples:
to search the exact string
"The Gulag Archipelago" site:forum.mobilism.org

or
to search just one word
Solzhenitsyn site:forum.mobilism.org

or
to search one word and exclude another one
Solzhenitsyn -gulag site:forum.mobilism.org
