Might have one lying around i have no use for at the moment.
What is your location ?
Can't get W32PPP to work. Maybe it's because i have XP, but it keeps disconnecting ? Maybe it's because the 720 uses "MS Win for Handheld PC 2000" Core System version 3.0 ?

Most of the trick to wifi on J720 is the Aironet 340 Card. Get one of those and most of the work is done. We've wifi'd our 720s for years on a domestic wifi which is XP based. We just added a Vista unit into it and that got sniffy about our Ameos, never mind the Jornadas. We had to turn off the "advanced network functionality" in USB to PC on WM6 before it would behave.
Tosh still sell laptops with a downgrade to XP Pro, if you buy the ones with Vista Business. Get one of those if you can, Vista is just not worth all the hassle... even this one, which came with Vista Ultimate, is a real pain to work with when compared to XP.
If you decide to pursue it on the J720 then perhaps you'd LMK... I have the Aironet-issued driver and some other stuff here which may make life a bit easier for you.
Presently I am trying (not very successfully, if the pocketdos man is listening) to get PocketDOS to work on the old J720 with DOS 6.22. I have a copy of the original TURBO BASIC that I want to run on there. Got as far as installing the PocketDOS with the included DOS, but following the DOS 6.22 install on their site didn't work like they said it would, and Turbo won't run under the standard setup.
{Turbo Basic runs fine in the XP DOS box, in case anyone wants to use the easiest BASIC ever.}
Just upgraded our Jornada to 64M memory using replacement ram/rom boards (on sale on eBay) which might yet solve the problem.
I can see the guys on PocketDOS have used a Jornada (or maybe an NEC 900) for their example screens so it is even more tantalising.
