There are rumors spreading about this but rapidshare is denying them. The site is back up now and everything is working fine.

Rapidshare would be out of business if it cleaned all warez; their servers are alive because of warez.

And they now that. But if they get a report from someone saying that "file x" or "file y" is warez, they have to clean it out.

probably they will just add another checkbox to the uploading form with text like 'i take full responsibility of the file im going to upload and i state that this file does not violate any copywright laws' and blahblahblah... lets hope it'll be checked by default

So what we're saying is that after "cleaning out all the warez", rapidshare would be left with just one txt file that somebody accidentally uploaded instead of sending to their mum.

I was in the process of downloading my first movie on rapidshare. I downloaded parts 1 and 2 and this morning, it says the filehas been deleted due to no activity. I was trying to get the movie My cousin vinny. This stinks. I have only half the file. Oh well, I guess I'll never figure out how to use tcpmp.
