What are your thoughts on finding a publisher for a book you write? Would you prefer to self-publish now or go through a major one?
I know, I know, were are on a site that helps people get books that they want but it still doesn't make this question invalid.
I am writing a novel right now - got the beginning, most of the ending and a long outline for the middle to work with. I am limiting myself to writing for 3 or 4 hours a day. I have to do that otherwise I will get burned out. About 100 pages written so far. Trying to average 10 pages a day for a month. I know that goal probably won't be reasonable to maintain but you don't want to set the bar too low; you wouldn't push yourself to get things done if you did.
