Am trying to help a friend out who's now getting vaguely obsessive ( ) about trying to find out about a music clip used in a BBC programme about the transit of venus.

The relevant clip is here - see http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=MuQnX16BL7U#t=731s at 12.11 seconds. The music's played for a few seconds then fades out as a narrator speaks.

Anyone know who/what it is? Please help me put her out of her misery...

Wow - really?! You mean the IoS game - https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/bejewel ... 60318?mt=8 ? You mean music from the original game or one of the subsequent 'sequels'? Any idea which part of which game it comes from?

After the post by Tattle above, I have now listened to a lot of music for the Bejeweled games - see http://skaven252.bandcamp.com/ - but have heard nothing that sounds like the clip used in the BBC programme.

You could cut out this little piece of music and upload it on http://audiotag.info/index.php (music recognition robot) or http://www.watzatsong.com/en (and maybe someone from the site members will recognize the song). Anyways, if you succeed to find out the artist and the title, let us know

That's great advice. Any suggestions about how best to rip that bit of audio from the YouTube video? I've not done anything like that before..

I'd do like this: 1.convert youtube video to mp3 and download it to the computer here: http://www.video2mp3.net/
2. cut it by using mp3 cutter?
