What's the cheapest plan now? I'd like a data plan in the UK but as I see it prices are still higher than they should be. What's the cheapest plan going these days and which are you on? :)

o2 and t-monile both charge 7.50 a month with a cap limit on o2 of 200mb not sure what the limit is on t-mobile. I use free wifi minutes from my o2 broadband contract to access the net, so i cant really comment over which is the best. If you have no need for high bandwidth then i would choose o2 as coverage is much better than t-mobile, that is what i have found anyway.

Orange also do internet but they have no inclusive data plans that are cheap, so i would give them a wide berth as they seem expensive to me

3 also do a 1gb monthly usage for a tenner a month, speed is much better than most, but restricted, in if you can actually get a 3g signal where you are. If you can i would go with them. But signal quality varies dramatically from one place to the next, what is most bizzar is that you could move from one room to the next and go from having full signal to none :D

Where you get this from? I was under the impression it was officially "fair use policy" but unofficially no cap, unless you started to dramatically affect other O2 users.

200mb is their idea of a fair use policy, read the small print
