Let's invent something...

Have you ever invented something? Did you ever have an idea, or made something that doesn't exist yet? Were you never able to tell it to anyone? To shy to talk about it? Maybe you thought your idea is not going to be taken seriously... Maybe you think it already exists...

Try us.

Tell us about your idea, the thing you invented. Let us judge and comment the products of your imagination...

I know what I talk about, because I already invented lot's of things. Here is one of them:

I invented screwable bottle caps that change colour once the bottle has been opened. That way one can see in a glance which bottles in a crate have already been used, and which ones have not yet been opened. Blue caps means the bottle has not yet been opened. Caps turned to red colour means empty bottle.

I want lifetime Cola light for free to allow Coca-Cola to use my idea...

Anybody here invented something? Post it, please, we are curious to know... Maybe our comments can persuade you to go on with your idea/invention, or even make it better... Or maybe you can inspire someone to get a new idea...

Uhm, I live in a city where traffic jam is already part of daily menu. I have a dream of switching a button on the dashboard of my car and the tyres automatically be elevated in such a way that it can become some kind of motor booster and fly, hehehehe!
I suppose I'm just inspired by Bond's or sci-fi movies,

if you can imagine it, you can build it...

a guy has invented this machine and he says "this is latte art printing machine that i built in my spare time using inkjet cartridge and an old x-y plotter".

...for a long time i was pondering about this idea: stickers in different color and with some kind of a small ( RFID? ) chip in them..those stickers could be put on different stuff like keys and wallets etc...so, when you are searching for those stuff in your flat you have a remote controller with buttons that are the same color like those stickers on those items... you sweep trough your apartments and the nearer you are to your item, the signaling noise from the remote is louder..something like a hand metal detector... friend of mine told me that he saw something similar but I personally didn't...have you?

Ah! Great! I could put such a sticker on andree, so I always know where to find him!!! How many times did I ask myself "where is my partner when I need him"... Now I will just have to push a button to make me see where he is. Might make it a buzzer at the same time, and changing colour matching the urgency...

Just an idea, but... not bad, marinxy. :D

Seriously talking, this could be of great help for blind people, or older people... or people living in countries where there are frequent electricity interruptions and other reasons for lack of light. Interesting...

To be exact, you were inspired by Doc Brown's flying car in the "Back to the Future" sequels.

Sure is an invention to me, marinxy. Only improvement is automatic transport door integration...

On the other hand, if you connect that carpet cleaner thing, your mouse will be transported at the speed of... air! :D

Hum... not many inventions last time...

What about combining a mobile phone with a Glasses Case. I use reading glasses myself, I know how small they can make them nowadays... Sure it won't make a mobile much bigger by adding a small compartment for glasses.

If you don't use the small compartment to put your glasses... why don't you put your pills in it, should you need to take them... Set an alarm on your mobile for the moment you need to take your pills... when the alarm sounds, you have your pills at hand. No need to search for them...

That could be included pretty easily to the mobile phone pouch... :)
And it's pretty good idea, I'd love to keep my cigarettes there so I'd finally stop running around my flat and looking for the cig pack... :P

What do you mean, tipra.wicked? Can you give an example about what you would like to "print" should that be possible?
