I need Navionics Gold/Platinum maps for northern Europe (North sea [Netherlands, Germany etc), e.g. "Navionics Platinum+ 25P"). They should work on a Lowrance HDS-5 Gen2 plotter.

I was just talking to a friend who said that you cannot copy the sd data from the cards. Is this the case and have you managed to get some. I am looking for Australia so Im not trying to obtain your sought after copy

I would like too.
However i believe the maps are locked to only work on the SD or MSD card serial number they were shipped on.

You can copy the data onto another SD card but the plotter will see the serial number of the SD card doesn't match the maps.

whta is the benefit of this
