So i tried FX for the day and i must admit: IT SUCKS as well. I don't like it at all; it's to limited for me and IE just has some stuff that make it more attractive to me. IE7 has been the best browser for me thus far.

Well, trying another browser for only a few hours (but I'm guessing it's more like minutes) surely will give a good impression of it's capabilities

Oh please, AV are crap and a whole conspiracy to me. We get the idea; all these top notch companies that make AVs release viruses and have their products clean them up.

I'm on Linux right now with FX, and i'm not even joking, this is really horrible. The images it renders are extremely bad and blurry with rough edges.

i have no problem with no firewall. have a free av, but cant see any use to it. they are all overratted. how often has an antivirus saved you from anything? how often do you just click the ignore button?

Kareem, post some pics/urls from Fx and IE, because I have no idea what you are talking about, there is nothing wrong with rendering over here. Coming with arguments that Fx is crap without facts is useless

did you use beta or beta2? would you please tell us why did you find it frustrating?

i get loads of virus's my AV has saved me loads of times... not that i'm a saftey fanatic, but im a carefull person, its just bad luck i get them.... Im using AVG free, and it seems to do the job fine

An update on IE8, ive been using beta2, and it really does suck, i do prefer firefox, but i though IE8 might have been a good update to get, as IE7 was also complete shit...
Its just that it takes so much langer than firefox to load, its like OMG!! so SLOW!! even now while im typing this message, its still loading the page...

I downloded it about aweek ago or so, so i'm not sure which one it was. It rendered the page horribly (surpisingly worst than firefox). Right now i'm forced to use Firefox because i'm on Linux and my hd crashed. IE7 all the way.

so i assume you've downloaded beta2. anyway, there's a button in both beta versions (it works better in beta2, though) called "Compatibility View" which lets you render pages in the same way IE7 does. it saves the compatibility view mode as well, so whenever you revisit the site, it will be activated automatically. PPCWarez is not IE8 compatible but by activating that feature, page layout deformity will be fixed.
