Because you guys only complain and NEVER state any facts, here is another FACT that Fx3 is NOT noticeable slower than IE7:
http://lifehacker.com/396048/speed-test ... b-browsers

And another one comparing Fx3.1b1 against IE8b2:

I don't know what you guys are doing, closing your browser every time and restart it?

your HD crashed cause you got a virus and didn't have any AV

Has nothing to do with it ;) It was because i went from Vista to XP (back and forth) so many times which i wasn't supposed to do.

The only FACTS that matter to me are not those you state but my own experience; which is infinitely more valuable in deciding which browser im going to use.

ff has been installed in my comps for well over 1 year, i use it often; but my choice is ie.

+1 here. As a matter of fact (a little off subject), i think i'll be ditching XP soon for this highly anticipated Windows 7 or Windows "Cloud." (cough LZF, cough) ;) After several days of use with Firefox, i still prefer IE.

Lol, 'soon' you say  Sure. There isn't even a beta available yet and we all know about MS and giving out planned release dates.

You guys can say what you want, but you still haven't showed me any fact Fx is worse or comparing screenshots as evidence.
Kareem, I'm still waiting for those pics in which you state Fx has a terrible rendering compared to IE.

Ow, and let's make one thing clear, I don't care at all what browser you or anybody else is using.

Lol, ditto here ;) Microsoft ruined their reputation after some stupid stuff and people always hear things from others and pass it on just because it's a "big hit" when they know they have no idea wth they're saying (i'm pretty sure nobody here since we all know quite a bit about browser :P, but at school and other places where people aren't tech-addicts like us; they hear from a friend about something and then they go try it out and pass it on just like with Chrome (except i didn't fall for it this time).

I never knew you wanted pictures :P I'll try to get them soon then ;)

edit: Lol, you could've at least said g2g; i was in the room talking to myself like an idiot (was going to tell you about FX) :P

Oh please, AV are crap and a whole conspiracy to me. We get the idea; all these top notch companies that make AVs release viruses and have their products clean them up.

Looks like your browser taste is not the only strange thing. :P First off, you're a warez guy anyways, so you wont be supporting any AV companies if you use their products. Second, if you agree that viruses exist, not having an AV doesnt make much sense.

Yes, for me, i can care less since i always use pirated software :P But for all these people out there that buy them...well let's just not go there. I'm actually stunned to see that so many people use FX from my experience (still on it btw). Since it's highly improbable for me to get a virus, if i ever do, i usually reformat my drive and everything's back to normal.

Oh i'm sorry kareem, i thought i could remember u saying in mIRC that your HD crashed because of a virus. Didn't u?

LZF can u remember kareem saying that since u too were part of the conversation?

Lol, for the second time, i've never seen a virus crash an HD. I was talking with ickyboo and a week ago or so and he told me that going from xp to vista messes up your bootloader and could get you into trouble. This isn't the first time i got back and forth between the two; last time i did it the hd crashed as well.

Nevertheless, i'm still shocked as to how i got that virus; think it was perhaps from Google Earth Pro that i started installing (off warez-bb) and never completed.

Hmm.. I hear all this talk about Firefox, and IE8
IE8
The ideas that center around this update and beta phase are great ideas, but IMexperience, IE8 1 and 2 betas are crap. Actually, I think I got a virus or corrupt file-system because of an ad-on I downloaded from the "so called official IE8 Add-On Site." It hasn't gone back on my computer since, after the reformat, and it won't ever go back. IE7 is still my browser of choice, if Opera for some reason is giving me problems. For example, sometimes, when I am doing something really important, and I don't want to mess up the formatting or page layout, I will use IE just because I know it works.

Firefox
Used it, but only for testing for my new website. Other than minor testing, I don't see how it is more powerful then Opera. I don't care about security, I am a very wise and smart tech savy Internet user. I know to check links before clicking on here links, as they can say whatever they want; the actual link may differ. Also, Opera has the search in page, which I just the other day found out to be really easy to get to. Just type one of these letters in: / . , and you are all set to go with your search. It's new Link system is OUTSTANDING! It has helped me in ways I never thought it would. Bookmarks being everywhere, history of typed pages, even the freakin notes are all synced to any browser that I login to. The gestures and wheel gestures are addicting; I regret using IE because I try and continue to use them, when in fact I can't, and that friendly right-click context menu just stares at me, wondering what I am doing. The added items to the context menu in Opera are so helpful, so many times.
Can Opera be improved some? Yes, for sure. Is it still usable, absolutely usable and a pleasant experience.
