But I do want to apologize. While my intention was only to crack a harmless joke, it easily came off as mean. If I'm not a fan of either of these two singers, then the very title of this thread should have let me know from the beginning that I really had no business opening it. That's sincere; I'm actually not being sarcastic. I could argue that I was simply expressing an opinion and that this area of Mobilism is called "Free Talk," but we both know that I was really just stepping on someone else's harmless good time and for no good reason. If someone voiced the notion of murdering some of 'my' favorite creative minds and thought it was funny, I wouldn't like it any more than you liked the joke I made.
That being said, I would like to revise my first entry on this thread:
I'm definitely going with Lady Gaga on this one. She can play a number of musical instruments, has a demonstrative understanding of musical composition and seems to have a heavier hand in the writing of the songs she sings. And in a time when nearly all pop stars are simply hired by recording studios to sing songs that are strategically written for them by producers, she's refreshing to a noticeable degree.

After getting familiar with those two "singers" thru the ever enlightening Google, I want to change my vote to "the one with a little bit less make-up" It's quite hard to tell who or what you're gonna find under all those layers. I'd feel like Howard Carter going in the hole in the wall not knowing what's beyond the façade.
